vlad has literally always been good. the worst he's ever been was "very good" and the best he's ever been was "absofuckinglutely batshit insane". He's somewhere inbetween those 2 atm and all casters are just way better than they were before this patch.

IMO having a 30% slow on a <3 sec CD helps shore up Vlad's biggest weakness relative to other strong AP casters, which is his comparatively weak CC skillset.

I don't own Vlad, but I don't think that should change.

I dunno how they thought it was a good idea to make an item that costs 160 less than z-ring and gives over 50 more AP by itself + better interaction with other items just by taking away an active that was incidental on most champs and was even gimmicky on the champs who wanted it.

Don't most "good" items give approximately the combine cost in stats/effects? Because Deathcap gives 200 AP straight out of the gate for a little more than 2 NLRs worth of gold. It's cost-effective even if you ignore the fact that the 30% AP benefits other items (whereas ZRing needed like 100 outside AP to breakeven on AP).

baron is still way too weak, my team just did it at all of us lvl 8 (ran double jungle so there wasnt really any solos with everyone running around)

good high end items are typically more efficient than their cost in terms of stats and effects than lower end items, but the efficiency on Deathcap is really quite absurd.

The 1.7 AD scaling just does so much damage. I'm not sure why Udyr does so much damage v towers right now, though. The best part is watching the gigantic Tiger animation on the tower.

They will nerf Deathcap. As of right now it's too good of an item, and it will becomes that "all around AP caster item" that riot tried to avoid by splitting up Zhonyas.
