News
- Lt. Morales has arrived to the Nexus. Check out her new trailer and fasten your seatbelt because the Medivac is about to take off!
- As always, alongside the new hero there is a Braw with the Blues! Join Blizzard and other community members and progamers while they play and talk about the newest hero!
- Blizzard has announced a new test map that is available right now on the PTR and will become available in the next patch in the live game. The focus of the map is to enable players to test upcoming changes to the early death timers, as well as changes to prevent games from snowballing out of control.
- Blizzard also announced that anyone who preorders Legacy of the Void will recieve Artanis in October 20, one week before he is enabled for the rest of the players. While this is a nice incentive, some people are worried this could cause some unfair competition. Leave us what you think about it in the comments below!
- Dignitas, the famous esport organization, signed team BOB?, one of the top european teams, just in time for the European Championship where the team performed exceptionally well.
- There has been a new ban wave. The weather forecast predicts a storm of "I didn't hack" post in the upcoming days. Be cautious.
Tournaments
- The finals of the OGN Super League took place this weekend. + Show Spoiler +In one of the biggest upsets of the game yet, Team DK Kr beat MVP Black 4-2, eliminating them and qualifying for BlizzCon.
- Meanwhile in Taiwan, Team G.I.A played against team Revolution in the Taiwan Championship. After a convincing 3-0 victory, G.I.A secured their spot at the Heroes World Championship.
- The European Championship also took place this weekend. The tournament was full of upsets, with some of the favorites, such as TeamLiquid, being eliminated in the early rounds. In the end, team Na'Vi faced Dignitas in the Grand Finals, where they beat the newly re-branded team 3-0. Both Dignitas and Na'Vi secured their spot at BlizzCon, and with this, all eight participant teams have been decided.
