It's very difficult to understand why other people like or don't like the same foods as you (there are exceptions). Salt obviously tastes good to many people. Vinegar by itself is pretty disgusting, but when added to chips it can be very tasty. I don't understand how people like pepper or onion (like, slices on a sandwich). But, I recognize that I am just not able to understand it, and that most people aren't just weird.

When I go to NoFrills, Dominion, Loblaws, Sobeys, etc. I always see them.... well in Toronto anyways. I strongly believe BC has the same stuff. It's quite sour, but I like it. ![]()

Walmarts in Toronto definitely have Lay's ketchup chips. Maybe there are TLers living in BC that knows about the situation there... EDIT: Anyways, I don't want to be responsible in case you have a wasted trip, but it is indeed very common here in Toronto where a few different brands have Ketchup flavoured potato chips (all of which available in grocery stores). I guess I was wrong to assume this flavour was universal.

I gave some to a girl once and she thought they were the most disgusting chips ever. I think she didn't realize they were lime and thought they were supposed to be regular corn chips - that would scare me, too.
