Tobias needs to get his act together and make more epic, long songs like this. It's really a shame that they only have one song like this. 9. Black Sabbath - War Pigs (Paranoid) Classic tune. 8. Blaze Bayley - Tenth Dimension (As Live as it Gets) Terribly underrated ex-vocalist of Iron Maiden. His own band is great and I'm glad to say I've seen them live twice. Blaze is an incredible frontman, really gets the crowd hyped up and makes you dead tired by the end of it. 7. Kreator - Terrible Certainty (Live Kreation) That Riff.. kills. 6. Dead Kennedys - MTV Get off the air (Frankenchrist) Can't really have a list without Jello. His spoken word stuff is pretty good too. 5. Death Angel - Lord of Hate (Killing Season) First, you think Death Angel is good. Then you see them live, and that's when you truly start appreciating them. 4. Exodus - Deliver us to Evil (Another Lesson in Violence) RIP Baloff, one of the best thrash vocalists ever, if not the best one. 3. Iron Maiden - The Clansman (Rock in Rio) Bruce is god, and proves it here. 2. Testament - Do Not Resuscitate (The Gathering) Pretty much the perfect Thrash song. 1. Disillusion - Back to Times of Splendor (Back to Times of Splendor) Incredible, complex yet does not resort to instrumental wankery. There's a reason this album took two years to make. Must listen.

BTW I'm surprised some people here actually listen to Relient K, haha 1. Weezer - Only In Dreams This song is just perfect, it has this dreamy feeling (which perfectly fits the title of the song). The bass is so simple yet so catchy, and the last 5 minutes of the song is just an instrumental that starts from basically silence and builds up into the full band. Octaves on the guitar can be so awesome when used right, and they're used perfectly in this song. 2. Foo Fighters - Everlong I guess I have some memories with this song so yeah.. IMO it's just the perfect love song, it's very very catchy and just a great song 3. Weezer - You Gave Your Love to Me Softly This song is like 2 minutes but it's the epitome of a very outstanding pop-punk song, not much else to say about it. 4. Filter - Take a Picture Another song with a dreamy feeling, I really really like listening to it when everything in life seems to be going absolutely perfect and I just feel so alive 5. Weezer - Across The Sea People say Pinkerton > The Blue Album, and even though I disagree with that I think this song could be used to at least help prove that. Of course it's written about something in real life (Weezer's lead singer got a letter from a girl that lived in Japan) and the instrumental in the middle of the song is just beautiful I can really only think of 5 right now.. but they're probably my 5 favorite of all time, everything after that sorta flips around all the time so yeah

The Tourist - Radiohead The best possible end to the best possible album Anchors - Secret and Whisper This band's vocalist is really unique, and his ability to hit any note really shines through here. Viva la Vida - Coldplay Really well produced, interesting lyrics One - Metallica Just because of how fun it is in Guitar Hero 99 Problems - Danger Mouse, The Grey Album This album was a groundbreaking work mostly because of what it started. I think this was the turning point for the anti-RIAA movement... I could remember thinking "this sounds so cool... why did they send the guy who made this a C&D notice? That's so stupid." Crazy - Gnarls Barkley Great singer, great production. Dirty Harry - Gorillaz Pink Floyd - Money Blue Oyster Cult - Don't Fear the Reaper The guitar solo is great, but not because of the guitar. The supporting instruments' parts are written so well. Hmm... the rest of the music I listen to is just stuff released by random people on the internet... so I guess I only have 9 favorite songs.

Top Ten from 2008 till now: 1. Sacrament of Wilderness - Nightwish (Tarja) Apart from being in Pimpest Plays 2002/03, the drums really bring me in. Always been a constant favorite. I love all the Pimpest Plays songs used. The April Fool's one on VioLetak's account one too. Especially Call of Fame. 2. How Six Songs Collide - Norwegian Recycling If Mraz is a C player on Iccup because of his ling micro, Howie Day a B player because of his muta harass, 3DD a top 20 ranking guild because of their members, then sAviOr composed this song. 3. Dawn Over a New Day - Dragonforce (Sonic Firestorm) By far one of the best DF songs, and I'm a fan. I'll state only one song from DF in the official list, because there's so much DF bashing going around, but Valley of the Damned, Starfire and Once in a Lifetime are definitely my faves too. 4. Bad Touch - The Bloodhound Gang This song is CHEESE. I want to go back in time and see the public's reception when it first came out. Enough said. 5. Wonderful Tonight - Eric Clapton Always reminds me of a very good friend who I definitely still want to get together with. The live > recorded too. I love it, and will definitely practice it when I finally do pick up the electric guitar. 6. Kryptonite - Three Doors Down This and Here By Me (Both by 3DD) both hold a very special place in my heart. Kryptonite reminds me of childhood days, Here By Me always brings me memories of smiles and friendship (because it never got further than that and it's still that way.) 7. Terran Soundtrack - Blizzard Entertainment You can never go wrong with this. 8. 100 Years - Five for Fighting Makes you think about life, this one. Much better than the Superman one too. I actually don't like songs that are overused/over-popular. People offer different views that are sometimes immature, clouds my own opinions about the song. 9a. Nine Crimes - Damien Rice (Abbey Road) Damien Rice and Lisa Hannigan. Damien Rice alone just sucks. Really. 9b. Rootless Tree - Damien Rice (Abbey Road version) Again, Lisa Hannigan is needed to make this song a timeless piece. Damien Rice alone is annoyingly whiny and self-centered. Yes, he actually sounds like that when he sings this song alone. 9c. Hallelujah - Damien Rice (Leonard Cohen's induction to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame) I'm not really biased against Damien Rice. I just think Lisa complements him really well and breaking their duo was an extremely bad mistake. Damien's rendition of Hallelujah is the best yet. 10. Poems, Prayers and Promises - John Denver Blame my dad for being a John Denver fan. This song has always been one of my top, all through primary school till now. I'd put Please Forgive Me (Bryan Adams) in this slot, if not for the fact that this song is more meaningful than that one, and that I also memorised the lyrics to this song while I haven't done so for the other. Definitely worth a listen on a rainy day or during work/home transit, or in a foreign country whilst touring the area.

I actually put 'Only in Dreams' on #11 for my list, so it barely didn't make it. I also especially like 'Across the sea', we used to cover it with our band for fun.
