I'm not too sure Searing, you mean when you are recording your stereo mix or from your mic? Have you tried turning down the output for the driver and turning up the volume knob on your speakers instead?

I get static when I stream too usually, it happens when I have FMLE open =/

If I close it and watch my VLC stream source it stops, so I'm still trying to figure that out as well.

Tried to set this up today but there was no option for stereo mix under XP. Not sure how to enable it and I really don't feel like putting too much effort into it. If anyone has a simple I'd appreciate it.

I don't XP, so I can't check myself what the steps are, but if it's disabled you are probably going to have to go into the control panel then to one of the sub-sections like "Sound", "Audio and recording", etc. Somewhere in that panel you should be able to enable it, whether you need to right click somewhere in the window, or go to Options/tools at the top.

There's a little description and picture for Windows 7 at the bottom of the OP for reference, but like I said, I don't have XP myself so that's about all I can do.

I dont have the Stereo Mix option either in XP on VAC. And the sound options don't look like vista at all, nor do they have equivalents afaik.

my stereo mixer shows up under my recording devices, but it simply wont record my system sound. i already installed virtual audio cable, and im using FMLE 3 and webcammax to record. video works great, but no sound in my livestream (only records my mic sound, not my system). i already set my stereo mixer to show up in that recording devices' list, and i already enabled it. but it just wont record my system sounds. any helps?

OS: windows vista x64 (build 6001: service pack 1)
sound card: soundmax integrated digital hd audio (version 6.10.2.6260, provider analogdevices, date 2007/07/11)

wow last post was back in october! i hope people still read this haha

i cant seem to get any audio in FMLE. i'm using windows 7 release candidate and my audio device list is blank, there is nothing in the drop down menu. nothing at all, its blank and all grey. i went into control panel > sounds then right clicked my speakers and enabled "Show Disabled Devices" like Grobyc suggested in a previous post. can anyone help with why FMLE doesnt show any audio devices? thanks =D

Apparently people are hearing "Trial" while I am using this. Anyone have any idea what that could be?
