about the vandalism: I also got an email from our common landlord (all appartments are from the same landlord. It's a bunch of flats. Some of them are 18 stores high, some only 4. In total there are like 150-300 appartments? But I can only hear the one big flat with 50.) Anyway, since I appreciate all your input, i will translate it. It gives a good chapter of this story: [friendly introduction] - throwing shit can kill people - when we notice shit being thrown from one appartment, everybody living in that appartment will be evicted. Costs made to clean up will be payed by the appartment. - Only people who can prove they were not there at the moment will not be evicted. - when visitors to your party throw shit, you are still the one being evicted. - when stuff get out of control call the police and let them close down the party. have a nice day! i feel like i have to... but apparently, there are people that get 4 hours every night and are just fine. i think the fundamentals of the argument are between these 2 types of people. but when youre going to sleep at 3 in the morning, just try to imagine your walls all shaking and people yelling. ...or just go to bed totally shitfaced every night. either helps. | ||

Throw a stink bomb, the party will be over soon  (only for the tenacious cases ofc) Especially nice when there are carpet floors. In that case the flat owner has something to remember. Or throw it at guests directly. This goes along the same lines as "get stuff stolen" (though I don't recommend that, it seems to much of a delict): people learn they better party somewhere else, otherwise it's too much hassle for them. | ||

not only that, but you are looking for some complete, perfectly passive aggressive way to get your way. this is your problem. incidentally, this is also why you are having such a hard time making friends in this thread. because no one wants to aid and abet someone else in the albeit noble quest of enforcing their own wants on total strangers from the safety of anonymity. that's not most people's bag. advice? cowboy up and solve the problem. there are about a billion and two thirds ways to solve this problem. some of them (confrontation, cops, etc.) are aggressive. some of them (earplugs, moving) are passive. pick one you're comfortable with and go with it. play the game honestly. you'll be fine with the result. don't, however, try to find that secret, wonderful solution that has the triumph of an aggressive maneuver and the soft, anonymous, safety of a passive one. that's how a bitch would play. gl hf | ||
