Anyways, what do you think unc's chancing are at winning? I'm being serious. I'm wondering about your perspective on this. I personally would be against my g/f doing a pageant thing. But that's a problem that's never come up. So we know unc's opinion on all this. Do you mirror? Do you fear her self-esteem might end up taking a hit? Or is she so gosu a loss doesn't affect her like it would Testie.

She took 3rd in the previous years competition having never done this before.. do I believe after a year of experience and improving she has a chance to win? Obviously.

She has no risk of taking a confidence hit as she is as confident and secure as you can be. She already did this and as far as I know she made it out with a stronger self-esteem than before.

What caught my eye on the first two pics: the two girls on the left from you (right on the picture) seem to have dresses that compliment them better than yours does for you. You still look great, but I guess I'm not a big fan of your dress ^^

Well, there are all sorts of good stories... like the amount of duct tape that is used back stage in a hurry in lieu of undergarments... the substances that are used to keep swimsuits in place... the tackleboxes full of makeup and jewelry that some girls end up with... the 10 hour days we spent dancing on our feet in heels... Well, this one day, I think it was the very day before the pageant, they served us up the hugest, moistest, most delicious platter of brownies you have ever seen. Most of the girls grabbed a salad and walked by it wistfully....looking at it as if it was the most beautiful, unattainable thing they had ever seen. This poor, huge pile of brownies, left all by it's lonesome! I, on the other hand, sang for joy, did a little dance, and took three. Everyone looked at me in shock, expecting me to be embarrassed, but I just wolfed them down with the happiest smile on my face you ever did see. Before long, almost all the beauty queens were picking at brownie crumbs lol. Then, when I was on stage being interviewed the next day for the top 5, they asked me a question like, if they were to give me a donut on stage right now, would I eat it? and the entire backstage erupted in laughter. Apparently, I talked about baked goods even more than I thought. On stage, in response, I asked that someone bring me a box of brownie mix so that I could bake them in my room after the show. They did.
