).Anyways on topic, I think that it is just American culture and consumerism that causes a higher percentage of silly stories to come up. Maybe its just that more stories get made about American stupidities than other populances because everyone likes making fun of Americans. But i have to admit, this is extremely childish behavior and i think they need to increase education not in an academic sense, but in a social one.
