Anyway, lets not fight plz. I can help you with ur problem: The problem is that some registry entries got corrupted. plz check some things: go to "start" --> "Run..." and type "regedit" go to path: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts" and check if the reg entry "MS Sans Serif 8,10,12,14,18,24" has the value "sserife.fon" also go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitutes" and tell me if the reg entry "Helv" has the value "MS Sans Serif" | ||

I had exactly same problem some time ago with screwed fonts all over the place. Everything was fine once I reinstalled Winamp. I swear to god, that's all what I did to fix exactly same problem. go to path "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts" and create a new thing there, which is like every other in that folder (i dunno the exact english word because im german, maybe "string") Name: MS Sans Serif Type: REG_SZ(default) value: sserife.fon Thats it if there are problems because the value "sserife.fon" already exists in "MS Sans Serif 8,10,12,14,18,24 (VGA res)" then change the value of that (VGA res) to "ssee874_0.fon" if it still doesnt work use the name "MS Sans Serif 8,10,12,14,18,24" for the new entry i hope its good now | ||

ok I found this, and changed the font name back to 'MS Sans Serif.fon' http://toastytech.com/files/sansurfh.html but it doesn't seem to be working >.< | ||
