Christian Bale apologizes

A wave of emotions hit the internet yesterday, when an audio clip of respected actor Christian Bale, yelling at the director of photography, on the set of Terminator Salvation was released. Internet users went wild as they listened to their favorite actor completely belittle a man, and make an ass out of himself. Bale-heads asked themselves if this was really the Christian Bale that they grew to love. How lucky for me then, when I ran into Christian Bale today at a pub. My chubby and grumbly camera man approached Bale and asked him about the situation. He had this to say:

"I apologized to Shane the next day. I was completely out of line, and my actions were far more extreme then needed, but you see as actors, we need complete focus and concentration to do a scene the way it must be done. So when someone catches my eye, and he's doo-dooing in the background, it's very hard for me to keep my cool. We were filming a very important scene, and I guess my emotions caught the best of me. I'm truly sorry to all my fans who lost respect in me. I didn't mean for this to happen, it just happened."

I thanked Mr. Bale, who shook my hand and turned back around to the bar counter, then my husky camera man and I were about to leave when Mr. Bale turned back to us and said "But you know..." He then took a quick shot of his whiskey "That prick really shouldn't have been in my eye line"

"Sorry, Mr. Bale?" I said
"I said I should have kicked his ass!" Before I could respond me and my chubby camera man noticed that Mr. Bale was foaming at the mouth. Literally white foam was oozing from his mouth. Like a rabid dog.
"Mr. Bale, are you oka-" But it was too late. He kicked me straight across the room, into the jutebox. How appropriate that Chubby Chase's song "Do the twist" began playing as Bale proceeded to take my obese camera man's head and slam it onto the counter. He was dead within seconds. His remains were shipped off to feed five poor families in Africa.

At this point however, most of the bar regulars weren't about to let this slide, so they all jumped at Christian at once, but Mr. Bale was too quick. He took a wooden stool and broke across four men. They fell to the floor, splinters in their sides. Mr. Bale then took the leg stools and used them as a sort of katana like weapons, and began beating the rest of the bar regulars.

C'mon baby, and do the twist

He took one of the leg stools and jammed it into one of the poor bar regulars and pinned the man's lifeless body to the wall.

Do the twist.

Mr. Bale jumped onto the bar counter and spotted an old lady across the counter. He yelled "Get out of my eye line. I want you off the set you *beep* prick!" He then charged full at her, jumped over her, came up from behind, and snapped her neck. One of the men who were beaten by the wooden stool, looked up at Christian Bale for a split second. Making eye contact was the biggest mistake. "Do you undestand?! You and me are done professionaly!"
"I don't know what you mea-" but he couldn't finish his sentence. Mr. Bale stomped his foot onto the poor man's face, breaking his jaw. Bale then turned to a painting of a naked woman that was displayed on the Pub's wall.
"McG!" Bale yelled at the painting "You gonna do something about this prick?!" The painting did not respond. "Well someone has to keep and eye on him!" Bale then took one of the unconcious Pub regulars head, and proceeded to rip one of their eyes out. "Keep a *beep* eye on him!" Bale threw the eye ball at the painting.

Mr. Bale then walked toward the Pub door, turned to me and said "You're a nice guy. You're a nice guy." He then walked off into the day light. It was a day I will never forget.

Entirely untrue. If Bale was a true professional, he would have yelled at the DP to get off the scene and just chilled out there. Then, maybe when the scene is over, call that DP privately and tell him how pissed off he was about what had happened and demand it does not happen twice.

What worries me is the fact that so many famous/powerful people, mainly the hollywood $tars who think they are literally better off than other people believing they can get away with stuff like this. It's extremely ill mannered and impolite, let alone ruins the filming atmosphere and all it does is boost his/her ego to think his action was justified because he's famous.

And what's even more depressing is few blind fans who let this happen by siding with his idols no matter what. Personally I am a great fan of Christian Bale and think that his acting is purely genius, especially in the recent Batman the Dark Knight. However, this kind of behavior just doesn't cut it no matter who you are, what your social status is. Have to say quite disappointed at his manner, though I half expected most hollywood stars to be this way.
