However, I am pretty sure I am ENTP right now. I have changed a lot, so I guess it's just the way it is. I'm ENTP.

The Realist Introverted Sensing Thinking Perceiving Quiet and reserved, interested in how and why things work. Excellent skills with mechanical things. Risk-takers who they live for the moment. Usually interested in and talented at extreme sports. Uncomplicated in their desires. Loyal to their peers and to their internal value systems, but not overly concerned with respecting laws and rules if they get in the way of getting something done. Detached and analytical, they excel at finding solutions to practical problems.

i dont see how the test is a lie considering you are pretty much saying what your personality is.. i think this test pretty much categorizes you acc to personality as much as it can and based on that you can observe how people of your general personality usually interacts with their environments, which personalities tend to match, general trends, etc.. out of 130 people in the poll, 76% are introverted and 24% are extroverted. also fyi, the facebook application has a bigger range and has a more thorough analysis. i took this test at work once before and saw how the different personality types of people i worked with were like and realized that its impt to know this so that, for example, i can know whether to speak in broad or detailed terms when im doing a presentation or explaining something to someone. i guess a side thing for me in terms of collecting data and seeing which tl members are similar to who is seeing how well the fb application determines relationships. Being an ISTJ, this is what it says about relationships with other personality types... Pedagogue Love Match: 'With your pedagogue, each is both the other's mentor and student. You each have a "parent to child" feel with one another. The ESFP is your pedagogue, and you are the ESFP's pedagogue.' - It just so happens that both my ex and my current bf are ESFPs. Pal: 'You and your pal work and play well together. There is minimal natural type conflict. The ESTJ is your pal.' Supplement: 'You and your supplement make good company but are different enough to add to each other's strengths. The INFP is your supplement.' Suitemate: 'You might be comfortable sharing an office with your suitemate. You prefer similar climates, but don't necessarily have much in common as far as goals or world view. Your suitemate is the INTP.' Neighbor: 'Your neighbor arrives at the same place as you by variant processes. Your neighbor is the INTJ.' Cohort: 'You and your cohort are mutually drawn into experiential escapades. The ENTP is your cohort.' Complement: 'Your complement has compatible strengths with opposite emphases. The ISTP is your complement.' Tribesman: 'You and your tribesman share a sense of culture, but with different interests and abilities. Your tribesman is the ESFJ.' Companion: 'You and your companion have similar modes of expression and bear each other's company well. The ISFJ is your companion.' Enigma: 'Your enigma is a puzzle, totally foreign in nearly every facet. The INFJ is your enigma.' Anima: 'Your anima is your complete opposite. The ENFP is your anima.' Novelty: 'Your novelty is intriguingly different. Your novelty is the ENFJ.' Counterpart: 'You and your counterpart perform similar functions in totally different realms. Your counterpart is the ENTJ.' Advisor: 'An advisor has an area of insight that the other lacks. Your advisor is the ISFP, and you are the ISFP's advisor. Read more on ISFP relationships.' Contrast: 'You and your contrast have similar strengths but where his or hers are extraverted, yours are introverted, and vice versa. Your contrast is the ESTP.' The test is a 'lie' because: a) people lie, even if they don't know it, while making a test yourself self serving attributional bias are a huge factor. b) the test doesn't measure behavior seen as negative simply because it would lead to inaccurate results, people underestimate positional factors, you can't really measure certain things accurately things on the internet And the outcomes are way too subjective, they only go into behavior seen as great, resulting in people taking this test way too serious, just because they want to. Also the whole classifying famous people who died long ago at the results and comparing them to you is silly because it's based on indirect material and irrelevant. You can classify churchill as one of these guys for example but fact of the matter is that he was great because of his bipolar disorder, not his personality traits. In general it's somewhat accurate though, just really useless. The main point of it is obviously making you feel good about yourself while giving nothing to improve on, because people ignore it anyway, such a shame. It's really cool to see everyone's results put next to eachother though, obviously all the good players will be introverted but maybe there are other interesting consistencies.

essentially though, if you are showing a lot more introverted characteristics than extroverted and you say you're not introverted, then chances are that you are lying to yourself. its not absolute either. there are many people who sway between diff categories. i, for one, sometimes get ISFP. the fb application also shows how people view you.. your mbti image which just shows which category people would put you in. how useful it is depends on the person.. it can just be informative with nothing else tied to it. it can just be another statistic like apm. and how can you really say one act is negative while another is positive.. for most cases its just how things are.. if you have a tendency to act impulsively instead of planning everything out, neither tendency is essentially positive or negative.
