Seeing as he was talking about the economy: hyperinflation. It could lead to deaths, but hopefully it would lead to ousting Putin and working on actual democratic institutions and a slow rebuilding of peace and trust with Europe, while equally slowly recovering economically. But sure, if you want to jump to the absolute worst outcome of an economic death spiral it's famine, pestilence and plague. I'm sure that that was the only outcome they had in mind when talking about screwing up the economy.

And shorter term, what people actually wish for is Russia to stop murdering people in Ukraine (theirs and Ukrainians). At any point, they could just leave, and the killing immediately stops. But Russia just doesn't leave, and the suffering continues.
So things like the Russian economy collapsing are usually seen in that light. As a hope towards the utterly pointless suffering Russia inflicts in Ukraine ending.

To be fair, they are sending soldiers and wishing then not to die. And we are wishing for them not to be there. Basically everyone is wishing for no death. We just wish for no war. ( Somehow no war means wishing Russians to die... But yeah I haven't seen two neurons connect in prowar people of this thread)
Wishes have the same value as thoughts and prayers to the Ukrainians.

Weren't you the one declaring how you unequivocally support the invasion - as in the mass murder and displacement of Ukrainians - ever since Ukraine started removing elements of Russian culture (within their own country), and this was after Russians had started their mass murder campaign? Now you're out here whining about brainwashed westerners wishing harm on Russia. I hope you can imagine how pathetic this looks from the other side.
Personally I would like Russia to get fucked - to the point where you lose your ability to terrorize and subjugate other people. Also consider the fact that ultimately it's not the west that's doing this to you. Russia mostly just fucks itself. You're a perpetual victim lashing out at everyone besides the people actually fucking you over.

Who's wishing death? Did I say "Let's genocide the Russians," or something along those lines? You misunderstood me, my Russian pal. So let me expand a little. I just wish Putin's Russia comes to a political end as soon as possible and if the means to do that is Russia going into hyperinflation and defaulting on all her debts, plunging the already generally not-wealthy population into recession and misery, so be it. There. Having stated that, if you have more trouble comprehending, I'll do my best to explain.

Listening to a 40 year old social reject that hasn't had proper exercise in the last decade talk about 'Russians fertilizing the soil', 'a grandma took down a SU-57 with a pickle jar hell yeah!', 'its a 30-1 kill ratio woah! we are winning so hard we need to mobilize 500.000 people to cover our 10k casualties, take that Putin trolls! *pushes glasses up nose*' ;that 100year old sail boat we sunk in the Black Sea 7 months ago was such a win, nothing happened since then, absolutely nothing!'. - Its not even funny, the average joe feels a deep deep pity and sadness for the people these (nafo) dogs are shoving in front of the bullets.
They won't stop 'winning' in their minds until the last Ukrainian is dead. Then again, that's a problem the Ukrainians have, not you.
EDIT: T-t-the Russian economy is really a goner this time guys, I swear!, not like the other 24 times I said the same thing over the last two years. Not like the China is collapsing for real this time articles I've been smoking for the last 17 years. It's totally true this time guys, I heard it from a guy on Youtube

To think that killing would immediately stop if Russian forces withdraw from the disputed regions is naive. A move like this will only lead to the next iteration of ethnical and political purges, like it had been in Kupyansk in autumn 2022 - local administration members killed by Azov, a number of people put to jail, including school teachers - "for complying with the occupants" and teaching in Russian language.

No one here is buying whatever it is that you two are trying to sell. You can save everyone the time and effort by just fucking off. Nothing you say has any value or is even worth arguing against. Your brand of lunacy isn't fooling anyone.

I perfectly remember that you are an idiot uncapable of understanding basic logical contradictions. Get rid of your habit of talking for the others, they'd be better without your help.

In a more general query sense to the general thread denizens, are Ukraine kind of fucked if the White House switches parties?
Add to that, while not necessarily seizing power there are quite a few European countries where parties who aren’t enthusiasts for supporting Ukrainian efforts making gains.
It seems to this relatively uneducated observer that even with current commitments maintained, you’re somewhat at an interminable stalemate. If they’re withdrawn it doesn’t look especially pretty
Thanks in advance
