I seriously doubt AOL is going to do anything to get your screename back, because everything you are telling them someone has already tried before, to steal account names. They get messages all the time from people trying to scam user information claiming that "someone stole my account, but i swear that I am the actual owner". Unless your screename is tied to financial records which you can use to back up your claims.

Have you ever paid for AOL as an internet provider before? Your parents maybe? I understand that it could seem like I'm a scammer myself, but I actually have access to the e-mail address registered to my screen name so in theory I can prove it's mine.

If nothing happens, I will release ALL information and encourage unsavory action be taken. I wonder if you know how naive that sounds. Anyway did he specify how he wanted you to pay him? It is easy after that.

Also, he didn't want me to pay him directly... he wanted me to pay the guy directly that was selling the screen name. I tried to convince him to let me pay him directly but since he's only 15 he doesn't have access to internet finances yet :-/
