I do find it weird how many Democrats lambast the GOP about not compromising and then turning around and telling their reps to never compromise either. If a Democrat voted for tax cuts and abolishing the Department of Ed in exchange for criminal justice reform (meaningful) and axing the Patriot Act they'd be thrown to the wolves. Its so weird to see that critique when the last page threw Spanberger under the bus lol. (Or how Dems ran "Blue Dogs" out of the party and hate Sen. Manchin)

It's mostly just a testament to how fragile and internally-divided the Democratic coalition is. The people who are throwing Spanberger under the bus aren't the centrist Democrats who want compromise with Republicans.
