I don’t wonder, I know. They feel the same way they do about the Epstein list now that they know how many times Trump is mentioned.
Yeah, I honestly don't think they care about hypocrisy. Like, I'm still confused how republicans have been all about free markets and and free trade and somehow Trump is able to get everybody on board with the tarriffs. Like I ask my conservative relatives all the time and they don't really even bother to care how to negotiate their thoughts. One of the things I'm fascinated with, is conspiracy theorists. And the one thing I've come to realize is that conspiracy theorists aren't people who believe in one or two kooky things, it's performative rejection of reality. Hypocrisy is power as it demonstrates if you adhere to the BS, thats a display of loyalty to the group. The rejection of facts shows you have a strong will and that is power. Perhaps your conservative relatives think markets within and between countries are different?
I'm guessing you already know this, but just to be sure, you know that "free trade" refers to trade between countries without restrictions to import and export right ?

And that’s not all he’s stomping on that are actual conservatives core beliefs. He’s a no state rights, big government, zero fiscal responsibility, anti free speech, pro authoritarian doofus.
You have to suspend all your morals and values and just support who ever is wearing the red jersey to be politically aware and support this guy.

I wonder if the Republican party will continue being absorbed in a cult of personality after Trump is gone. Like, it's one thing to support your candidate or be proud of your president, but MAGA's obsession with being the Trump party is unprecedented. Many Republicans loved Reagan, but they wouldn't spend all their money buying Reagan memorabilia; many Democrats loved Obama, but they don't own a thousand Obama-related items. Hopefully, the next Republican nominee or president isn't deified the same way Trump is.

To people who explicitly believe in a hierarchical world where they're above minorities in their own made up tierlist, hypocrisy is a privilege for the greater and a fault for the lesser. Trump breaking laws and norms makes him more popular among Republicans, not less, (even when the lawbreaking enriches himself at their expense,) because they've finally found someone who embraces the petty bullying they've always believed in in their hearts.
Or to put it another way, they live vicariously through him. They wish they could be born rich, willfully ignorant sex pests without consequence. They wish they had millions of fans that would eyeroll away rape allegations. Trump is the person they always knew they could be if those pesky minorities didn't steal the wealth and power that rightfully belongs to them. Pretty much, deserved the TL+ for that observation from whoever gifted it!

Also, what do you think happens in the scenario you voted for? Do you think Dems should, if you voted for them having both houses go to impeach Cabinet members, Supreme court members, Trump? Should they try to jail people over Dodge, what should be investigated first? Not exactly, but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing that fight amongst yourselves. Of course, that's also basically what DPB said should happen after Trump won in 2024 and that didn't really happen either.

We had lively discussions about midterm candidates, just because you refuse to participate in good faith doesn't mean that others aren't.
We'll do the same for 2028.

No, there was literally no discussion about which elected Democrats were insufficiently opposing Trump, needed to be replaced in this midterm election, and who should be organized/rallied around to replace them as DPB suggested should happen and I pointed out at the time was more of this habitually empty/performative rhetoric. That's part of why I laid out how/why choosing the MPVC and organizing/rallying around them to help them win the early primaries isn't happening or going to happen this cycle either.

Pretty sure it was persons like you who caused 2024 to happen by not voting Harris (even if you said you eventually did). So your purity testing doesn't work around here. Again, as others have stated, the onus is on you, but you obsfucate as much as possible.

Harris lost for a LOT of reasons, but the reality that Biden should not have been the nominee in 2024 and his sycophantic party waited until too late to recognize and act on that fact has "voters like me" (that told them that for ~1 year+ before they finally recognized it, in deep blue states) beat on that list.
