The military will offer TRT to military personnel with low testosterone levels. This is bad. mega bad. Check the health thread for what an unmitigated, absolute, total disaster TRT is. TRT is a lifetime Big Pharma subscription.

JimmyJ tip for all those taking Zinc to keep up your T-levels... make sure you avoid high phytate foods or you will not absorb it.

Just a brief criticism of TRT. It changes the way your body forms collagen. So your skin thickens and your tendons become less elastic.. 2 example changes of 100s. As a result, tendon injuries and ruptures are much more frequent. And any one who has dealt with a tendon injury knows how those injuries can linger forever. After a rupture and surgery to repair it the joint is never the same.

Any how, government-backed, widespread endocrine system modification of its military personnel is Brave New World type stuff. I think it was "soma" in that novel.

Testosterone is a hormone men have, so surely to be manly enough you need lots of testosterone. And soldiers need to be the manliest of men, so of course they need additional testosterone to be more manly men.
