Iran combined relatively ordinary technologies into a weapon that changes the economics of long-range precision attack. I like Go Kart Racing. And I like the amount of power a 2 stroke engine can generate. It is hilarious watching the west's "save the environment and the ozone layer" initiatives result in astronomical military spending. How much does it cost to shoot down one of those flying go Kart engines any way? Do you know? | ||

Also the ozone layer got largely repaired by virtue of banning CFCs so that’s a success story of international cooperation no? The US notably spends rather a lot on their military despite withdrawing from various environmental treaties, so I fail to see the link. | ||

Iran combined relatively ordinary technologies into a weapon that changes the economics of long-range precision attack. The US military's focus is on spending money. So the US wants zero American casualties and no air pollution while controlling a country of 90M+ people. It is theatre of the absurd. Also, the ozone layer added in there was not serious. You should know the ozone layer has been a solve problem for 30 years. | ||

Data center? Chip manufacturer? Energy providers? Memory? Tech giants? Self driving cars? Military? Logistics? You can rest assured plenty in the world, users or companies, are using AI in some form. How do you make the distinctions? Nvidia's 5.4 trillion dollar evaluation isn't up 900% over 5 years off of the back of their amazing video card sales. Yes AI is used a lot, yes it has plenty of uses. But the amount of money being throw at this companies is in no way proportion to what they will, or can, generate. OpenAI and Antrophic are going to pop at some point in the next few years and they are going to drag the market with them. (its always hard to say when the music will run out, companies and economies can zombie around for longer then you expect) | ||
