I don't see Americans moving to places like Winnipeg, Regina, Edmonton, or Saguenay. Life in those places is ... "different" ... and that is putting it kindly. Are Americans not tired of being lied to, over and over and over and over again ? Tired of being lied to? Yes. You search this and it immediately comes up the funding is Secret Service and DHS for security. Not the construction you tried to post this as a rugpull of. We still know and have the people who donated for the ballroom. That's already public. What those people can't do is write a check to the DHS or USSS and tell them where to install motion trackers and CCTV and electronics warfare and maybe dig another bunker under the White House. This got me thinking, How common is this? So I asked chat gpt this question, which leaders have expanded bunkers with ballroom additions?
And I got this wonderful answer.
A few notable leaders are associated with bunker complexes that were tied to — or literally built beneath — grand reception halls or ballroom-style additions: Donald Trump — In 2025–2026, reports emerged that a new underground military/security complex was being constructed beneath Trump’s planned White House ballroom addition, replacing or expanding functions associated with the old Presidential Emergency Operations Center (PEOC) under the East Wing. Adolf Hitler — The original Vorbunker beneath the Reich Chancellery in Berlin was constructed under a large reception hall/ballroom addition to the Chancellery in the 1930s. It was later expanded into the deeper Führerbunker complex during World War II. There are also broader historical parallels where authoritarian leaders built lavish ceremonial architecture above hardened underground shelters, but these two are the clearest documented examples involving actual ballroom or reception-hall additions directly linked to bunker expansion.
Damn, who knew chat gpt was such a radical lefty.

I don't think that's a reasonable comparison. Hitler was a decorated veteran and as far as we know he never raped anyone.

He also killed hitler which is a W in everyones book.

The problem with being similar to Hitler is NOT on the points of being an unrefined artist, or having similar taste in architecture. It's the killing of 6 million people thing. Ballrooms do not kill 6 million people. Nor do mustaches. Nor do landscape paintings.

Seems like this was not shared here, but the recent leaked classified report from WaPo (this one I can't read due to lack of subscription) and covered by other outlets like RawStory and AOL seems to claim that Iran retains 70 % + of it's launchers and ballistic missile stockpiles:
The analysis by the U.S. intelligence community, whose secret assessments on Iran have often been more sober than the administration’s public statements, also found that Tehran retains significant ballistic missile capabilities despite weeks of intense U.S. and Israeli bombardment, three of the people familiar with it said.
Iran retainsabout 75 percent of its prewar inventories of mobile launchers and about 70 percent of its prewar stockpiles of missiles, a U.S. official said. The official said there is evidence that the regime has been able to recover and reopen almost all of its underground storage facilities, repair some damaged missiles and even assemble some new missiles that were nearly complete when the war began.
Which is weird since oBlade claimed a week into the war that "there is no Iran" and they have nothing left to threaten anyone.
It's almost like you have to leave all common sense and logic behind when you are in the cult of Trump.
Sad.

Let me give the circlejerk gaslight a spin. How about: "We've wiped out a quarter of their missiles and you think we're losing? If someone destroyed a quarter of America's military it would be hailed as the most resounding victory of any nation in the history of the entire planet."

Maybe not directly. The system he created allowed it and forced prostitution for groups he classified as hostile.
A contemporary potential Hitler would need enough power to be considered as such.
America has more in common with nazis than it‘d like to admit imo. At least when it comes to systemic issues.
Presidential power being huge, capital punishment, extensive media control and industry-state concomitance. To name a few.
Indiscriminate targeting and genocide support. Cult-like party system. Militarized nationalism. And that‘s as neutrally described as possible. The official ideology differs, at least. Still.
A world where money matters more than context is still a shit world America is pushing.

This Jimmy Carter speech is from 1979 and I think it is fitting for the negativity in this thread. It is a great speech. This speech appealed to those citizens who wanted to "Make America Great Again". Jimmy Carter called upon Americans to transform the USA into an energy superpower. My favourite line: "All the legislation in the world can not fix what is wrong with America".
