Can I link back to this when they eventually find out how Project Vertias was bullshitting the whole thing and selective edited the fuck out of everything?

Remember when uranium was just about to blow up? Big news about to drop? People going to jail? It doesn't matter, it's on to the next bullshit every time. No matter how many things fall flat.

I’m not sure about their broader impact, other than a never ending rally helping to keep big supporters energized. And the right-wing meme creation and distribution, whatever that impact is.
This is an interesting development in the tech censorship/content policing debate.

Luckily the admins sent them a message that is pretty easy to find.
The reason for the quarantine is that over the last few months we have observed repeated rule-breaking behavior in your community and an over-reliance on Reddit admins to manage users and remove posts that violate our content policy, including content that encourages or incites violence. Most recently, we have observed this behavior in the form of encouragement of violence towards police officers and public officials in Oregon. This is not only in violation of our site-wide policies, but also your own community rules (rule #9). You can find violating content that we removed in your mod logs.
However, that's been going on since the subreddit existed and they've never been banned. It's more likely the result of a recent news article and the backlash to reddit's bottom line from advertisers. You can look at past incidents like jailbait only being banned after Anderson Cooper talked about it in the media.
Conservatives would like you to believe that they're persecuted and big tech out to get them, but the reality is far more sinister. Reddit is completely profit driven and cares about this because it's finally hurting their bottom line. There's no grand conspiracy with the deep state, just dollars to be made.

Anybody want to take any guesses as what Trump will do from now until then? Kind of surprising tbh. I'll bet he was threatened with a subpoena. Oh he was actually subpoena’d all right. That’s the news. He’s complying with the subpoena to appear before the House. So much for the warnings he gave in the press conference. Unlike the majority of people subpoenaed from the trump administration, Mueller will actually show up because he doesn't have anything to hide. Unlike trump officials, appearing in front of a committee for investigation won't require Mueller to commit perjury in order to testify without incriminating himself. Mueller has said that his testimony would be what the report said, implying he won't say anything other that what the report says, but I welcome the testimony, if that's the case so let it be, and let it be in front of the world. I welcome the ability of both sides to ask questions to gain clarity here. The report brought up more questions due to lack of clarity, that is Mueller's fault, lack of clarity in the report demanded he be subpoenaed. Unlike the other subpoenas, Mueller is not a senior presidential advisor. Executive branch lawyers have argued that those advisors are immune from congressional subpoenas for over 50 years. It’s a very silly thing to argue to overturn 5 decades of legal analysis, or else you’re hiding something. The problem is that, at least the case of Kellyanne Conway, White House counsel said she could ignore her recent subpoena. This seems incorrect though because the subpoena has nothing to do with her role as an advisor to Trump. Her subpoena was related to her violation of the Hatch Act as a federal employee.
I can understand the argument of not allowing advisors to be subpoenaed with regards to their role so they can work in their role without worrying about repercussion for advice they give, as was the case with McGahn. However, just because someone is an advisor does not mean they should be immune from following laws not directly related to their role that other government employees are required to follow. To do so would put presidential advisors essentially above the law, which is unconstitutional.

In principal I'd agree with you, but that isn't what happened here. Repeated calls for democrats and police officers to be executed is not "supporting a state representative." The reddit admins called it "inciting violence" and quarantine the subreddit.

Big tech are conservatives though? Maybe libertarian (with some liberal identity politics mixed in). Somehow you're arguing for government regulation and them for self-regulation and accusing them of being anti-conservative?

To answer the question of why reddit would quarantine that subreddit you literally only have to look at it. It is evident. They also have a long history of brigading smaller subs which is generally frowned upon by the staff.

Obvious right-wingers like Peter Thiel aside, the politically active components of Silicon Valley that support Democrats are the party supporters that progressives are fighting against this primary season. Many of them would vote Republican in the face of folks like Sanders had the GOP not turned into a uniform chant of "Praise Trump, Forget Iraq, Keep America White and Christian Again."

This is despite IgnE frequently examining arguments he does not personally hold. He never says “I think blah blah” in the first person singular in those cases. mostly incumbency advantage (incumbent wins 2/3 of the time historically, even if this is diminished in trump’s case it would still be significant) paired with the fact that the most exciting Democrats that would bring D voters out also seem to be ones that are divisive in Trump states (socialists, warren) and would likely energize the opposition. i think biden is bound to lose.
Nvm my reaction,i did misunderstoud the word incumbent. I thought it was the challenger. The advantage for the incumbent has been even bigger if we look at the last 5 presidents,4 out of 5 got a 2nd term.
