- around a week later I went too fast on a turn and almost slid right into a statue thing by a church - this tuesday I was driving into a curve, went too fast (and I've been in a "drifting mood" these days) and started sliding. I almost spun out, swerving to the left and right 3-4 times before I finally regained control, scared the shit out of my friend. That night on the way home I was being stupid, and on the phone. I needed to turn around, so went into a parking lot but couldn't make the turn all the way. I was in a hurry so I reversed as fast as I could, and it was dark so I couldn't see shit... I backed into a tree. - yesterday I underestimated the slickness of roads when it rains, I was giving my friend a ride and suddenly he said "LEFT HERE!! *pointing* " I slow down from 40 to around 20mph braking hard while turning, but it was still too fast and I lost traction, I could've made it if the road was a bit wider but... I ended up in a ditch. The front bumped snapped off, and I was stuck for a a minute or two, but luckily I was able to reverse out of the ditch, and since the bumper was held together by plastic clips I was able to snap them back on, no damage noticeable - currently it's been a month since I've gotten my car, and I'm not even thinking about fixing the damage on my rear bumper and broken tail light until it's been at least 3-4 monthes because even though I got pretty lucky so far, I have a feeling this isn't the end of my close calls ![]()

Even worse, when I do have time to play (perhaps twice a month), I usually end up playing BGH because I don't want to waste any time finding a game and don't want to have to worry about sucking too much for my partners.

And the guy behind me flicked me off as if I'm suppoed to know what I'm doing. And there's a big fricking sign on the back of the car that says "STDENT DRIVER - STANDARD SHIFT CAR". Asshole.

Until i do notice it and start walking normal again :# I like to play "dodge the cannonballs" as I walk through parking lots. The painted lines resemble cannons and they shoot out cannonballs, and my objective is to step over any areas that are in the path of a cannon. I imagine if you were to watch me coming, I would periodically look to the sides to see where the lines are, then step funny to avoid stepping in the paths of those lines. If the parking lot is empty, then I usually try to avoid stepping on the actual cannons (lines) too. But if faced with the dilemna of stepping in the path of a cannonball or on a cannon itself, I instinctively choose the latter.

In elementary school and in the first year or two of high school, it was standard for me to shower once a week (at most). Nowadays, on average I shower once every 3 to 4 days, and sometimes I have gone for a whole week without showering (this includes washing my hair, by the way). My primary motivation for showering is if I am going to be meeting a girl later that day and haven't showered in 2-3 days. So if I don't see any girls for a while then I tend to just let myself go =P.

I've gained weight over the last semester and so I hope to get rid of it soon so I can get some fucking self-esteem back. rpf, I think you need to stop reading topic and go read something more uplifting and entertaining. Like that Counter to All the Depressing Topics topic. ..... Wait nevermind, it looks like you've already taken care of that. ![]()
