I bought a VaporBrothers vape a while back and certainly haven't regretted the purchase. I still like variety so I still smoke out of a bong (actually bought the bong AFTER the vape) or pipe or papers, but I mix it up. Vapes basically work by (well at least this one does) having a heating element in a tube that heats up the air in the tube (this is internal in the vape). You then connect your "whip" (a rubber tube essentially with an attachment at the end to put the weed in and have a filter in there) to the vape and pull the air through which gets heated up by the heating element and gets pulled through the weed. The air is hot enough (vapes usually have settings to change the heat as well) to vaporize (like evaporating) the THC in the weed without actually combusting the weed. The only "problem" is that THC isn't the only cannabinoid in weed, there's also CBD and a couple others. THC has a lower vaporization temperature than CBD and the others cannabinoids (if I'm not mistaken), so you don't get those as much (or at all) when using a vape. This is part of the reason you can still make edibles out of vaped weed (aka save it all in a jar). The other is of course not all of the THC coming out of the weed when you vape it. Generally speaking, THC has more of the "high" effect while CBD has more of the "stoned" effect. Using a vape generally (read that generally multiple times, there are many factors obviously such as the strain etc) doesn't give me as much couchlock, but still gives the headbuzz of being high. If you like weed but you also worry about your lungs and being healthy, a vape is a great choice. The only negative thing I have to say about my vape (maybe it's different on others?) is that it's setup so that you put these filters in the whip to stop the weed from just being inhaled straight through and being sucked into your mouth. These filters inevitably get clogged/very dirty and you have to clean them which can be a minor inconvenience. You could just buy a shitload I suppose but that'd get pretty expensive. The most common two are JWH-250 and JWH-018, although JWH-018 is becoming illegal in more and more places. These are research chems. They have not been around for all that long, and they have only been used in humans for a few years. Some of the smoke shops I talked to (been a few months) did say that some brands do put salvia in it ... Just what I was told though. Calling someone stupid for smoking that is not nice ...Though calling me an "addict" might be closer to the truth hahah. | ||

Spice is disgusting anyway, only stuff I bought when I couldn't up was awful, I learned my lesson pretty quickly. | ||
