So after hitting my bong I came here and saw djwheat posting (which is awesome), but I have a question(s) for you wheat, do you follow the Counter-Strike scene any more and if you do what do you think about the sad state it is in now?

I've been around the CS scene since the beginning of CAL and the old DoG days so of course I remember you casting matches (back before it was cool), so it's awesome to me seeing people from the old scene still around.

enph, care to tell me what "sad state"? Haven't been following cs scene for years so would like to know. :-)

The scene has just dropped off completely. The NA community is a joke now. ESEA is the only league left and it's honestly hurt how the game is played here. Too many players who care about their pick up game stats, a bunch of egotistical 17 year olds who think winning ESEA-intermediate makes them the greatest player in history, and the people who play off client will claim cheats/are blatantly cheating/cry "play on client" because they lose. The community is just awful honestly...the people who cared have quit trying because they can't stand how the community acts. CGS hurt the NA scene when all of the top pros switched and only a few came back when CGS died and actually managed to do anything (there is only 1 team in the whole NA scene that can barely compete on an international level now).

Europe is still doing fairly well, but the number of tournaments has dropped off significantly this year and I've heard many pros saying they believe this is the last good year of competitive CS.

Nah it just shows that it is a changeling. You still have to manually target them.

Damn, that's a shame.

Diablo II has died the same death, though it was never competitive.

Fuckin awesome to see wheat in this thread. Good to hear tasteless partakes as well. As for sean, he seems pretty straight-edge when it comes to that kind of stuff, but maybe he just keeps it on the DL, who knows haha.

I'm planning on going to MLG columbus and (well, after I get knocked out LOL) sparking up with as many fellow TLers as I can.

MLG DC was one of the most fun weekends of my life (mostly for this reason LOL), hopefully columbus will be just as awesome.

Anyways anyone else at columbus don't be shy if you see me, just come hit me up and we'll find a place haha
