Your diagram is fine, except that it should be an exhaust connected to the carbon filter. Thus air would be leaving from the carbon filter, not going into the reflector as you said earlier.

It's not too complicated and you can find all of it with the search function. If you buy the supplies from a hydro store they'll be able to help a lot too. When I started out all I did was buy all the parts and figure it out at home, a lot of it is really quite self-explanatory. icmag, rollitup, and grasscity easily have all the necessary information, but here's a good book also: Amazon link. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind your questions and I'm sure Zealot doesn't either. But these questions could go on forever with all the tiny facets of growing. Thanks, bought that book. Trust me, when i'm not asking you guys questions i'm browsing the GCforums :} Your diagram is fine, except that it should be an exhaust connected to the carbon filter. Isn't the inline blower the exhaust ??? edit: Some people have told me to have the carbon filter on the other side of the light.. Which would look like this: + Show Spoiler + ![]() No idea if I can connect the carbon filter directly in the light though, or if i need to connect the two with ducting (like in the pic i drew)

That's what you described earlier: Is there a glass sheet on the Easycool that seperates the bulb and the plant? (that way the air coming from the carbon filter into the reflector does not go back into the plant, since it is trapped by glass, and so the heat of the bulb cannot escape the inline blower on the exhaust exit) You simply need a vent coming from the reflector which leads to the carbon filter. A fan should be sucking air out through that vent. It's the exhaust vent.

And this blower should be a 4" Vortex inline blower? How loud is this thing? Is it really obvious once you walk in a room?

It will be much quieter than the 4" especially if you use a speed controller if the internal temperature allows a lower airflow.

My personal bowl is a swirl of black and bright yellow, affectionately referred to as "Goldmember" after the Austin Powers movie, of course. One of my friends has a bubbler named Michael Bubble', which i personally find hilarious. Other notables are Mr.G (Summer Heights High), Carini, Wilson, and Kaos.

- Still living at home at the moment, until at least January. This is a number of problems within itself actually, but mainly my mom does not want me stoned at home. I'm too lazy to find a workaround to this. When I smoke at home I have to stay up late in the night until everyone's asleep. I'm also a full-time student and I work part-time, so this fucks my sleep schedule too badly. - I'm broke as crap at the moment because of my accident last month. I couldn't work and although I got approved for reimbursement from E.I., they aren't giving me anything, what the fuck! I still owe my mom rent for this month which I can't afford. I don't smoke a lot anyway, but when you're in debt you got to start cutting from your 'luxuries' >.> - A bunch of friends moved away who I mainly blazed with, so it's just not as fun anymore. The most exciting it gets is watching OSL/MSL finals high or something. Doesn't seem worth the trouble IMO, since it's not a way of life for me. - Doesn't help with school at all. I have a harder time concentrating and at the moment I'm getting massive amounts of homework. I already find my classes hard enough as they are. - The lady friend thinks it's disgusting. This isn't a big factor in the decision, but since the beginning of the year I've been rarely smoking(maybe once or twice a month), mainly due to the reasons above, and to me I think this is a sacrifice worth making. We both drink, so I still have my "substance of choice"; it's not so bad. This was the deal breaker I guess. During a break from school or something if I'm with some close buddies I might toke up a bit, but right now I think I'm going to take a break. If things end up failing with this girl and I'm done school and away from home I'll definitely consider making it more of a hobby, but we'll just have to wait and see. I'll be done posting in this thread now so I don't fill it with sober replies, spamming the thread, but I'll probably still read over it when it gets bumped. This thread has given me it's fair share of interest haha. Cheers.
