Yes, marijuana usage is not illegal worldwide. However, I have two responses to this:
1. the vast majority on this thread are from nations (US, Canada, most of Western Europe) in which marijuana use is illegal.
2. MORE importantly, this thread also advocates the use of ecstasy (illegal everywhere) and crack cocaine.

Thus, I have issues with this thread. Also, drugs are bad for you. =(

i can guarantee you ecstacy is not illegal everywhere, and point number one is still unnacceptably discriminatory to places like the netherlands.

also, i disagree. recreational drug use is quite enjoyable. and not always bad for you. therefore excellent. as a matter of fact, if my mother wasnt asleep in her room i'd probably raid her cabinet for painkillers and be feeling much better than i do currently.

Fair. People in the Netherlands can discuss these things. People that do not live there are breaking the law by using illegal drugs. By providing a forum for discussing illegal acts, TL is complicit in this. Who knows how many have read this and found a better way of getting high?

Short term euphoria certainly does NOT outweigh long term detriment. There's always the risk of death from painkiller abuse. Smoking does untold damage to the lungs. Plenty of alternatives exist. If I knew your situation, I could try to recommend you one.
