I mean.. Zelda Links Awakening is also "stupid" but at least that goes friggin quick and is therefore kinda fun ^^.

Some are ran to complete 100%, some are ran to achieve best time possible (any%). Amnesia had no restrictions, so achieving the best time was the goal. I enjoyed the run, it was quite impressive to see the glitch compilation being used. As someone said, we're not here to watch a run of the game, but to watch a speedrun. The part where he gets hit by a zombie while holding a rock and facing a wall was fucking tricky too, i don't know what you didn't like about that.

My only disappointment was Adam did not show off the new cistern boost found out around 6 weeks ago. This would be going towards the morgue but instead of running through the flashback you boost onto a pipe and completely skip the trigger. Otherwise, run was fun with great commentary by Adam. And im not really sure what you're expecting Veir, a glitchless amnesia run is simply a boring category that doesn't require much skill. I doubt it would even be ran if the game wasn't so glitched.

Twitch Shows Support for Summer Games Done Quick 2013 Speed Demos Archive’s annual Summer Games Done Quick charity marathon is currently live on Twitch, gathering some of the best speedrunners in the world for a great cause. Viewers are encouraged to make a donation to the group’s fundraiser, the proceeds of which will go directly to Doctors Without Borders. With their previous marathon raising close to half a million dollars, there’s no doubt that SDA knows how to raise funds for great causes. To that end, Twitch is getting in on the action by offering $50 per 1,000 peak concurrents, and up to $5,000 in total. For example, if SGDQ reaches 50,000 concurrent viewers, we’ll donate $2,500, and when they reach 100,000 viewers, we’ll donate $5,000. It’s our way of showing appreciation for the incredible efforts of the speedrunning community, while encouraging you all to tune in, spread the word, and make a donation of your own. For more information on Summer Games Done Quick, including a schedule of games, please visit http://marathon.speeddemosarchive.com/. Blog Thats a nice gesture and contribution by Twitch. I hope they also don't take a cut from the subscriber revenue.

Lots of good games today, though I think the 'sleeper' hit will be rockman 4 minus infinity.
