Trump even shows off how big his tax returns are:

Looks like it will be Trump vs Hillary (bye bye Sanders) for the presidency.

Would be hilarious watching the debate.

My guess would be MSM, they have been running nothing but that. Making the Republican race sound closer than the Democratic race.

Agreed. I wonder how Clinton will fare if Trump goes after her the same way he did Jeb. Probably she'll stand up more against his roasts, but who knows what he'll dig up.

As for who will win the Dem nomination, too hard to say. It's looking good for Clinton but Obama came back.

If Bernie doesn't come out of Super Tuesday with some big wins and serious traction, he'll be done.

I think it really isn't possible for Hillary to look any more sleazy than she already does in the eyes of voters. And honestly, Bernie would have a more credible attack on her record as a fellow Dem candidate than Trump would as a Republican. He really should be pushing those issues harder - the advantage of the "happy warrior" status seems insufficient.

People seem to underestimate just how impressive Sanders campaign has done. He got more contributions faster than Obama despite not being at the previous convention, starting with practically nothing in the polls and no name id, no assistance from the media whatsoever, and the list goes on.

Hillary was even more inevitable this time and is having to work even harder to stay in it. Hell she's still in SC and that's supposed to be a blowout for her.

Going to be harder for Bernie to come back with the media working so hard against him but the internet is a different beast than it was in 08. Hence the absolute demolition of Hillary in the 18-29 group and the whoopin she's getting with under 45's

If people over 50 used the internet more she'd be losing them too, lucky for her they get virtually all their information from MSM. I seriously wonder how many black folks who are supporting Hillary know she's coordinating with the guy who got Thomas on the court by slandering Anita Hill and making her look "a little bit nutty and a little bit slutty" even though he knew it was straight bullshit.

GH, the harsh reality of politics is that sometimes you need to work with people who did shitty things. Because people elected them. I have to deal with some real bottom dweller real estate agents and witnesses that are straight up fucking sexist/racist assholes. And I need to do witness prep with them because it my job.

If Sanders gets elected, he will have to deal with racists, idiots and bottom feeders. He might have to deal with the dude you are talking about because he is still in office. You can hold it against Clinton if you want, but you are pushing for Sanders to have to do the exact same shit to keep the lights on, because that is how politics works. Literally the job.

maybe im living under a rock or something but i find the left's hate on hillary really perplexing. it's not even limited to the far left socialists, just general philosophers and humanities people are pretty uniformly against her. i'm pessimistic enough to be content with her, but it really is an outsized hate relative to a similar person with her actions and positions.

I honestly think Bernie needs to aim a couple blows below the belt. It doesn't seem as if the outlets currently backing him will mind, and many of the neutral ones will report on it if it generates some outrage.

The unrealistic sound of these propositions is indicative, not of their utopian character, but of the strength of the forces which prevent their realization.

They seem one step away from Tea party levels of logic and reasoning. The ones who blame Obama for not closing guantanamo get real testy when you remind them that the president is not a dictator. Like the office doesn't allow him to do whatever he wants and he meet massive opposition to closing guantanamo. These are the type of people who claim they won't vote if Hilary is on the ticket, even if facing the reality of Trump.

Wait is this your rationalization for voting for war criminals?

Texas is one of 12 states voting on "Super Tuesday" next week, but Republicans there are a little nervous about this year's election.

Less than two years ago, Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, won 48 percent of the Hispanic vote during his re-election.

However, in an election season dominated by calls to build a wall with Mexico and deport every immigrant who's in the country illegally, some Texas Republicans fear years of outreach is being undone.

In fact, Republican operatives use Cornyn's re-election, specifically, as proof conservatives can continue to win statewide elections in Texas. That's even as the Hispanic vote, which on a national level leans Democratic, keeps growing.

Outreach to Latinos was a big part of Cornyn's campaign, which is why strategists say he was able to win the Texas Latino vote in 2014. Campaign ads in multiple languages — including Spanish — blanketed the state. Republican operative Brendan Steinhauser, who helped Cornyn win that election, said the campaign also knocked on doors and held events in communities of color.

"If you show respect to people as an individuals and as a community — you show up, you break bread, you get coffee, and you show that you are listening to their concerns – you can still can have some disagreements on public policy and still end up winning those votes," he said.

Steinhauser is optimistic Republicans have a good future in Texas — even if they stand their ground on issues like immigration. He said the party doesn't need to waiver on issues such as amnesty for people living in the U.S. who entered the country illegally. The key, Steinhauser said, is making a case using a respectful tone.

However, Steinhauser and other Republicans here worry that's not happening in the current Republican presidential primary.

yeah I agree, I don't know where it's all coming from. I mean she's cringingly bad at lying and she takes money from whoever will give it to her, but I wouldn't put that past any republican candidate either. I blame right-wing conspiracy, that usually makes me feel better
