But at the same time, (Derek) there's no need to prove your credentials by saying how long you've played BW or read TL.net or whatever; that just makes you sound... well... like Rekrul, tbh. And if you are trying to make a point on a forum, bashing the whole forum isn't the best way to go about it. At the same time, there are obviously some people on here who will take Rek's side no matter what the argument is. I'm surprised that Rek is so into the "white person in an Asian country" humility, honestly, because some of his posts have smacked of that same type of arrogance. Maybe that is in the past, and attitudes do change over time, but... it was surprising to me. I'm sure that Rek can think of times in the past two years when he was just as much of a "fish out of water" as the kid who he's bashing up and down, and yet now he's seemingly forgotten what it's like to be in that situation. It reminds me of third- or fourth-generation Americans bashing immigrants for not speaking the language correctly or dressing funny, when most of their grandparents or great grandparents had to go through the same thing. Only in this case, it's on a much shorter time scale.

i actually made a point to just say 'ive played sc, poker, and visited this website for a while' without saying "lozl i beat boxer 4-1 and i make 2 millionz a week" and ive been a part of this sad community long enough to know who rek is in all 3 facets, that's all. i know if i hadn't said anything someone would be like 'an who r u fgt!!! u dont know rek hes manner.........'

Losing isn't a bad thing if you're just outplayed or lose a close hand. When clueless fucks make bonehead plays and somehow win, that's when the anger comes to the fore.
