This is a tragic event. Let's not derail the thread with a gun control debate. Posts from page 9 onward will be moderated for steering the discussion towards gun control.

Many Alex Jones listeners are just another brand of blind followers. I use Alex Jones as a source for topics to research on my own, things I wouldn't have heard about otherwise. I think that the way Alex presents information is actually a tactic to discredit people that bring up important information about the workings of government, intelligence, finance, and general history.
Umm... what does Project MKULTRA have to do with the shooting? As far as I can tell it was abandoned in the 70s, way before the shooter was born, and all they really managed to do was mess up their subjects/provide them with free LSD. They completely failed at any sort of practical mind control...
I did find this unintentionally hilarious, though:
As the experimentation progressed, a point was reached where outsiders were drugged with no explanation whatsoever and surprise acid trips became something of an occupational hazard among CIA operatives.
I can see the amusement in it, but its still a horrible thing to do. Dosing people is a fucking dick move.
Yeah, it is. But I'm just picturing men in black sneaking around trying to slip some acid into each others' coffees and tripping out to the Mission Impossible theme... I'd watch that movie.

When you put it that way, its hilarious. They had some awful times with it , but im sure they had some great ones too.

Breivik is a terrorist - he had political intentions behind what he did, and he is not insane.
As far as we know right now, James Holmes is just a looney. No politics involved, AKA not a terrorist.
Terrorism - "the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, especially for political purposes."
If that is the real meaning of terrorism then how come the american government is calling everybody a terrorist when THEY themselves are terrorists. Except for Ron Paul he is America's only hope, but of course they ain't going to elect him, the media is too busy giving no coverage to him because they know he'll fix the country.

This is like a perfect bundle of conspiracy crazy.
*Compare US to terrorists *Compare Ron Paul to the messiah *Blame TEH MEDIA! for everything

Is it really that far out there to compare US to terrorists? How many innocents have died to those unmanned drones I wonder? What about Fast and Furious?
It's no secret that America is circling the drain (no worries they can just print more money?) - I'm not sure if Ron Paul is the messiah, but the leaders of that country need to make drastic and radical changes - something that only Ron Paul seems to be pushing for.
The Main Stream Media is so laughable that it's not even worth mentioning, and is to blame for a lot of the publics misconceptions of the world.
While his comment wasn't articulated very well, it really doesn't really seem that "crazy" if you look at it from afar.
