Dear BionicWaffle,
please stop presuming to speak for the rest of the fucking world, especially when you mention meatheads like Paul who is anything but libertarian when compared to politicians like Gary Johnson,
sincerely, some guy who is a part of the rest of the fucking world.

Sincerely, Rest of the fucking world. Seriously, people need to start realizing that all the other politicians are bought out and the only person that isn't and WILL bring real change is Ron Paul. Hes been consistent on his view points for the past few decades, hes been right on many huge issues that have happened, and hes the only one that will actually follow the constitution. + Show Spoiler +Here's a video of Ron Paul pretty much saying what would happen in the past decade. I'm really sick of this shit, amongst others, being shoved in my face. Enough with Ron Paul I wish I could understand why this attitude is so common among Americans.
"Excuse me! I'm trying to have a discussion here on whether we should give the most important job in the world to an incompetent man or to a corrupt man. Stop interrupting me by talking about that guy who's intelligent, qualified, and wants to actually change our broken system instead of just talking about it!"

Both choices suck. To bad I voting for ron paul is a waste.

Oh this thread is going to be hell. Especially when the elections get closer. I'll be voting for Obama. I may not agree with every single thing he does, but he is a hell of a lot better than Romney. Obama is looking towards the future, Romney is not. LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!!!!!!

To many people have this view point as well, thinking voting for Ron Paul would be a waste. If everyone who thought this actually just voted for him and with the current support he has now from people he would win by a landslide.

I wish I could hack the poll and enter Ron Paul into it.
VOTE FOR RON PAUL! 3rd party ticket 2012!

I don't even vote. People vote to one party of the other because there is no third party with a shot of winning. So we are stuck with the crap the two parties give us.

I could care less if people lose hope in me. They don't live here. I don't even care what people here think of me. To me it's simple. Waste gas and put miles on my car, or pay to go vote for people I don't want to run the country.

Agreed. Voting for the candidate that most represents your stance on the issues is the civic responsibility of responsible citizens and is never a waste. Put your faith into ideas and movements, not politicians. All movements start small, but none will ever gain momentum as long as defeatist and pragmatic rhetoric are chosen over logic and reason.
EDIT: I still don't think he would actually have won the nomination though lol.
EDIT 2: Can we get clarification on the mod note? Are we not allowed to discuss 3rd party candidates here? I don't think Ron Paul has ruled out running as an independent.

Not voting isn't going to change that, though. At least vote for a 3rd party candidate.

So, your general viewpoint is waste as much money as you can. That's nice.

To the contrary. I don't like to spend money I don't need to. No matter who gets elected they run the same political games. Thats my opinion at least.

The problem with Ron Paul, aside from his beliefs and policies, is that he has closely associated himself with a vocal fringe minority of crazies. It has gotten to the point that moderates no longer associate Ron Paul with his freedom message but instead with the single-minded doomsday prophet members of the church of Ron Paul. Most moderates feel equally unsettled by these people as they are by birthers and other partisan fanatics.

Ron Paul is trying to put more money into the taxpayer's pocket. However, I do agree with your viewpoint that everyone runs the same political games, but what more can you say than you just have to be open your mind to someone who knows what they're talking about.

I am not American, but if I was I would lean towards the right (I support free markets, just not religious conservatism). Stop fucking presuming that everyone in Europe supports Obama.
