Seems cool, and I'd love to watch but no RTS progamers :/ no BW or SC2... kinda sucks. I'll be looking forward to watching some stuff though to see what it's all about.

Very excited for this!

2GD is in Sweden and has other stuff in the works.

Looking forward to the Academy; although Steelseries is my preferred manufacturer of peripherals this project seems very nice.

People are just dissapointed that something so involved with StarCraft doesn't have much "StarCraft credibility" in terms of talent.

No, it's just most people don't want to take the time to read the full post, don't know the full extent of the experience of the listed players / commentators, or too far up their own ass with how "good" and "elite" they are (and clearly deserve better).

I'm looking forward to seeing the pro-BW / SC2 / WC3 players, sponsored by Razer, contribute to this and making this content widely available to everyone.

I dont want to be rude, but this lineup is full of youtube trolls, commentators and celebritys. The only person in there that can be called pro is Cypher since he is one of the best Quake players of all times and still is.

There is more to come. In various games. As it says it's a beta program. We'll be announcing more and more pros to take part in this over the weeks and months to come.

Trying cover all games (whether considered irrelevant by some or not). Shoutcasters and entertainer are one place to start and they will be working with professional players of Team Razer and some Team Razer players will have their own thing.

This is just a starting lineup. Also you can let us know what other games/personalities you'd like to see there under academy @ razerzone.com.

We'd love to hear your feedback.

I would like to see actual player, not personalities. Because right now i dont know, those people are known, but are they actually good player who wish to be progamer in their own game? Or is this a kind of reality show, with know personilities in it?

So just because you don't know who they are, they shouldn't be involved...?

Don't really give a s*** about there content but Athene is there so... gonna be kinda good, right ?
Cypher, and Rotterbitter ... i can only love the guys.
Would have really preferred one of the EJ guys instead of Swifty if they wanted to bring a wow guy ... and once again, i can't help but laugh at the idea of "professional console gamer", but its not like i haven't heard of arctic before, so all the guy are there a + or a 0 for me.
A good strategy means leaving your opponent room to make mistakes

You're posting an awesome lineup, do not get me wrong.
However, none of these people are actually aspiring sc2 progamers so why post this in a starcraft related website?

comments like this its just so disrespectful.. why dont u think of the big picture? instead of looking at whats what? its not just GAMING PROS as mentioned 100 times why dont u go read the OP before making comments like this which really pisses me off.. sometimes i feel 50 percent of the starcraft community is such an embarrassment people are trying to promote gaming and negative attitudes just prevents it

This was answered just a couple of posts below Endymion's original message.

When I saw Latif, I actually defied gravity and performed C. Viper's Ultra 1; Burst Time, and flew through the air in a series of amazing burning kicks.

Now i'm kind of dizzy.

But aside from that, he's one of my favorites in the SSFIV:AE atm, right up there with Tokido and Fuudo.

According to Mr. Bitter this is supposed to be a place to allow players to get "as good as they are willing to be."
With the majority of the people involved not being from a StarCraft background, or being a commentator for StarCraft, it doesn't *sound* to be "that" helpful. Yes yes, I know there will be BW, SC2, and WC3 pros participating, but they won't be there all the time. It'll just have to be a wait and see sort of thing.

Also, no need to get hostile and bitchy about other people.
