signature bikers for mass market, nothing that stands out too much but exposure is what they're aiming for here makes me hesitate to pick up a pair of balmain bikers tho and i've been thinking about doing so for a long time | ||

That's quite ironic considering most of the stuff is made in Portugal these days.. But in Europe we don't have the heavy sales culture like they do in the states. Doesn't qlo ship to Portugal? Who knows, H & M kind of straddles a weird pedestal between classic preppy stuff and pure streetwear. Regardless I think they will have a hard time with this collection, given the likely high prices Edit: I'll add that Uniqlo seems to appeal to a slightly higher-fashion (perhaps more astute, if you will) crowd, hence their general success with the collaborations. H & M also makes a large amount of their sales from women anyway, so I imagine it will hinge on that to a large degree. Edit2: Looking through the collection again I'm really inclined to agree..It seems like a direct rip off. I'm not sure exactly, but a direct rip off jacket that you sell for 200 bucks rather than 5,000 seems a bit cache. At least with a style as distinctive as Balmain it approaches the fake burberry scarf territory. That said I do have a fake burberry scarf, lol. | ||

random fashion thoughts: hurts my soul that all the drkshdw and zamb I listed sold like hotcakes while my super fancy uma wang coat keeps getting lowballed. It's probably the nicest thing I own from just the material/construction, but I'm guessing it's a hard sell cuz of her lack of exposure. virgils are nice, I was skeptical, but they're everything I hoped for; looks/comfort, etc, everything's on point. care-tags seems like a good forum, they have interesting opinions about everything. what are your guys's winter kop lists? I just want some Isaora merino basics and a dark Schneider shirt to go with the cardi. I don't get why everyone says every designer copies raf, is any blend of streetwear and high fashion automatically raf inspired? posted a fit on sufu and got shit on | ||

I'd like them to be quite sturdy, I wear my shoes all year round and they still looks almost news so I'd be disapointed if they worn out in a couple of months. Edit : BTW I do a 47, (size 13 in US I think), so yeah it makes things harder to find. | ||

Stan Smith's are probably one of the most well known sneakers in male/female fashion, though. You could also try something like a brown leather sneaker (I picked up a pair of cole haan's today), which adds a bit of formality to it. | ||

Hey greggy, yeah i haven't been to wcr in a long time  maybe i'll check if my account is still up and give it a go.About Uniqlo, nop it doesn't ship to Portugal, but we have a "similar" brand that is Springfield where we can get the plain shirts/polos and some decent classic chinos for 30-40 euros. | ||
