Butteros came. The toes are longer than I expected, might have to do with the bigger size (10.5), but they look like clown shoes if ankles are covered up. They're also a bit clunkier than I imagined, not sure if I have any tops to wear with them: with uniqlo tapered, these are definitely too slim to wear with the boots, was gonna get acnes as a better quality replacement but now I realize I need wider pants or at least something that stacks well, no idea what to look for. http://imgur.com/a/7f4Qk with somets, not sure if I should zip the boots up halfway so the ankle looks thicker or just let them stack on top of the boot like that, don't like tucking and zipping, makes ankles look too thin. sry for shitty tablet camera quality, http://imgur.com/a/kAjbr

Good info that I should already know but completely slipped my mind. You did say approximately 70-80% wool would be great but Uniqlo typically is like 50%-65%. Do you still feel like that's a good proportion? I'm aware that artificial fibers certainly have a place in clothing though just I was under the impression that for outerwear the higher % of wool the better. Didn't think about the fact that lower quality wool would hurt the product.

anyhow you're right that regular uniqlo stuff is 60%, but +j stuff is higher quality and the higher price tag reflects this. I'm not sure how the re-run of the line will change the composition but I don't think it matters much anyways. wool quality can generally be summarized by how fine the individual fibers are, and obviously there are different treatments (boiled, melton wool, worsted, etc) that can affect how it feels to the wearer. It's why finer fibers angora and cashmere and alpaca are valued over traditional wool even though they each have their own respective drawbacks.

but def ocbd/tee for tops, denim for bottom, and some sneakers. you can go barefoot for soccer assuming its on the beach. i would bring flip flops too. the thing is though if i were in that situation i'd wear a linen shirt, swim shorts, and sandals until its time to go out. so it depends what you'll be dong more.

A knit seems like too much when the weather is ~18 high, shorts might be nice but I am severely lacking in that category of clothing. I literally never wear shorts. I have some unworn Uniqlo ones that I bought in my menswear phase, and a pair of hot pink topman swimming trunks, not even kidding. Havianas might actually be useful, thanks for the suggestions

i'd bring a light jacket for that kinda weather, but it depends. i have this notion that leather is warmer than it might be. time to kop some swim shorts quick! lots of "fashion" options depending on price but tbh $20 in a not obnoxious color goes a long way. aka speedo - i have one of these and its probs at top 5 kop all year link this one also seems promising link 2 netting tho
