It's in the north so pretty cold during spring still but not cold enough to wear winter coats/jackets. Blazers are good but I'd need ones ultra casual, not feeling cardigans, never owned one. Pullovers are okay but still a bit too... preppy, I sometimes just wear hoodies over dress shirts instead of sweaters. What other layers can I add? And any other recommendations for style and brand? Not looking to dress super serious like walk into a class with everyone wearing sweatpants and tims and me with a BB blazer, but just something different and modernish. I was looking at EG's (baker/andover) jackets and liked them but unfortunately they're not available online anywhere. Also gonna be wearing jeans only.

but for the price I guess it's ok. got on the social networking hype and built themselves into a legitimate online manufacturer Is there a better place to buy tshirts from that doesn't cost 3x+ as much? yea $10-20 - american apparel, kohl's inhouse brand (apt9?), target, muji for 2x as much go sifr, sunspel, N&F for 4x as much go iron heart, acne, james perse, t by wang, silent damir doma, our legacy, reigning champ, w&h, etc etc. there are so many in this $75+ category. everlane tees started wearing down on me after several washes and billow out at the waist. costco tees are actually gigantic on me, I use em as loungewear. I've owned everything in the list above except AA, acne, james perse, and iron heart tees; my best experiences are with sifr and muji so far. target and kohls are legit as well. as a disclaimer I have a waifish figure, so take that as you will when you consider my opinions about fit.
How should I size for sifr? Medium everlane fits me well.

trying to diverge from hoodies. Also what's there to wear besides sneakers for warm weather? Looking at some Alden's boots but afraid they're gonna be too hot.

Price points for brands? Its a very broad category tbh. Better to go through some stockist websited and see styled you like and go from there. List is in op

our legacy is nice but i really dislike their boxy fits. I have a cool melange ocbd that was a total impulse purchase and I had to bring it to the tailor twice because I underestimated how much I had to take it in in different areas.

lol fuck i ordered on Friday but they haven't responded to anything, I feel like I'm getting scammed.

I'm noticing a problem with blazer sizing on my recent forays and I'm not sure how to fix it.
I usually wear a 38 or 40 short depending on brand. Today I was in Brooks Brothers and I tried on some Milano/Fitzgerald/Regent jackets in those sizes plus a few 36S. The shoulders felt great in the 36 but there was not way that was going to fit in the waist (severe bowing in the lapels if I could button at all). In the 38 and the 40 the waist felt great but I did not like how the shoulders looked or felt at all. Too much padding and or divots that I didn't like.
Any suggestions? Is this a cut problem? What exactly should I be looking for to get the fit that I want - easy on the shoulders but comfortable in the waist.Should I size down but go with a 'relaxed fit' so that the shoulders are nice but I can actually get it buttoned? I don't think sizing up will help.

I'd just leave it, judging from your description the model just isn't for you. Few things look worse than blazer that doesnt fit, and if you're spening 300-1000 Euros on something it should fit.

BB blazers have weird fits, I'm normally a 40 but after trying out everything only a 39s or something like that would fit me for the slim fitting styles. Also I discovered that EG jackets have tiny cuts, or at least ones from this season, need to size up.

Had a pretty good haul at the Muttonhead warehouse sale today. Copped a pair of Naked & Famous Skinny Guy - Blanket Lined for myself for $88CAD. Also helped a bro get into raws with a pair of some Naked & Famous 19oz, style #019191 implies they are Elephant 2s but the tags weren’t on it and the stitch color isn’t seem the same as Elephant 2s on the internet, so I’m not too sure since I can’t find this peculiar pair on the site. Regardless, it’s so fucking heavy that I’m sure he’s gonna have a hard time breaking into them.
