A question for hair: i've never actually done anything with my hair before, literally just cut it short and leave it flat but I want to do something with it. What kind of product should I be looking for to get a bit of 'lift' but keep the hair looking 'natural', I don't want it to be shiny/greasy, just a light product to make it look a bit livelier.

Waxing gel. If you want to start cheap/easy, get some Garnier Reworkable Paste. There's diff types, just make sure you get the one that isn't shiny.

There's tons of other types of waxing gel/pastes out there, just make sure you stick to those instead of the traditional gels.\ Oh and ALWAYS make sure you're applying it on totally dry hair... otherwise you'll end up with the shiny look gel gives anyway.

I hate to chime in with this truth - but if you spend like $50+ on any item of clothing you are an idiot.
All you are doing is walking around advert for some corporation...

Why the hard cap? Suits don't come under $50, for example.
Closed minded attitude. With that mentality, why spend more than $50 for a TV?
Also, what about unmarked clothing?
I dislike the attitude of cheapness. Frugality is cool but deciding not to pay for something because there's a cheaper (price/quality) alternative is.... Bleh. Technically, by only buying poorly made chinese goods you're also a walling advert for cheap chinese goods.
Plus there's the ability to see it as an artform that you're lacking. I'll leave the rest for andy's inevitable post lol

You mad my boots probably cost more than your whole outfit?

So far I've been a normal poor college kid and I've been using my Dad's gel. The problem is that it tends to stop working over the course of a 12 hour day, and it starts to droop after 4-5 hours. My question is, can anyone recommend from experience a hair gel that's truly long lasting? You can certainly look good without spending a lot of money. However, some people appreciate and enjoy unique clothing made with quality materials and often in cuts or styles hard to find in a typical
Most expensive clothing has no branding on it whatsoever. Often people who are spending <50$ on a shirt are walking advertisements for a corporations logo or words.
And it is nearly impossible to find nice shoes, boots, glasses, coats, pants, or shirts (not basic tshirt/henley stuff) for less than 50$.
