I can't find any other threads on Google Music, even though it's been in beta for quite a while now, so I figured this would be a good time for one to be made!
Google Music is essentially a cloud music option. It's currently in beta (but I think almost anyone with a droid can get in easy, or so I've heard.) And as of today (or maybe sooner, I noticed it today) finally allows for invites. Basically you register, and use the Google Music Manager (installed on your PC) to choose songs/directories of songs to upload, then you now have all of your music in the cloud and can access it from any computer (and I think up to 10 phones) any time.
It has a really nifty feature called "instant mix" which allows you to select a song and make an instant playlist (Google uses a Pandora-esque algorithm for this, I assume) based on that song and its qualities.
Another feature is that it allows (at least for phones) for songs to be downloaded in advance so that, in the case of driving through a cell phone dead-zone or something, you will always be able to listen to your music seamlessly.
I won't lie, I haven't given Google Music as much attention as I'd like because of how much I use Pandora. I think that a lot of the audiophiles on TL might enjoy it because you already have tons of music that you listen to on an MP3 player or through ITunes/Winamp.
And so far, I think it's giving you two invitations only (I have two and haven't used them yet, but will probably give them to friends from FB... if not, TL is my next choice!)

I have been using Google Music for about a month now, and I absolutely love it!
I love being able to have my entire iTunes library up on the "cloud", and be able to access it from anywhere. I can pull it up on my cell phone, on any computer at work...wherever! It's absolutely fantastic.

Only bad part is that is only temporarily free.

I have no experience with this. Is this like Spotify or Pandora?

Basically, you just copy your entire music library to the "cloud", where you can then access it from any computer or device.

That's about it! It sounds simple, but it is truly awesome to have your whole music library wherever you go. I've got about 35 GB of music up there right now. I'm gonna be super sad once it's not free anymore ):

Nice way for google to monopolize music as well.
I keep all my music to HDD, DVD's, CD's and flash storage devices and don't need no stinking 3rd party computer to store and know about my music, so that in the future lawsuits can be filled against me if they don't have a record of me buying it.
