HOCKEY RUSH EH? But in all seriousness... I know lots of Canadians and they feel closer to me than any other national group. I don't like being one of those Americans that calls Canada "The 51st state" or somesuch nonsense, but between the people, to me at least, it feels like its just BARELY a bigger gap in culture than from one state to another here in good the ol' USA. Honestly I have more in common with a lot of Canadians than I do Americans because I love hockey so much. Every time I meet someone from Canada I get all anxious and have to ask "Whats your favorite hockey team? Who's your favorite player? Do you like hockey? I like hockey. A lot. Wanna be friends?" Then I give them a good creepy smile  <3 Canada even when its not Canada day. <3 Canadians, Happy Canada Day!!!!But also... RUSH. Rush all the way man... even if hockey didn't exist I would thank Canada at large for creating Rush for the world. Awesome Canadians: Alex Lifeson Niel Peart Geddy Lee Joe Sakic(#1) Patrick Roy Sydney Crosby Adam Foote Wayne Gretzky Too many other awesome hockey players to list (I like hockey ok... sorry those are the only Canadians I know besides Rush) | ||
