I am so confused right now. The Ark Music Factory explanation and video makes this make so much more sense. I watched a little bit of the video and started laughing because the announcer guy seems so ridiculous and actually seems to be making fun of the kids -- "more talent than my little toe and my body"!? I'm so disappointed in the world right now. Thanks, TL!

D: At least when they have the fake crowd yelling "yeah" in the slowed down version, i get enough laughter until the next occurrence, so i can't really hear the rest of the song. Sometimes, I don't know whether to laugh or throw up when listening to this.

Rebecca Black, young, beautiful, but insecure (aren't we all)? As soon as she wakes up, make-up remains plastered all over knowing it is her favourite day of the week, the day where all other days seem to pale in comparison: Fry Day. A day where looks matter, age must be hidden and the synonyms of fun and "weekend" are immediately thought of when hearing that day. One would think some similar sounding day comes after Thursday, but no, we hear it resoundingly throughout the song: Fry Day. She narrates the routine of her life, but a blur as it seems she kicks it in the backseat as she front seats straight to that favourite day we love, we enjoy, we yearn for and indeed, she too, strives for it as she strives to be young again, plopping her among minorities and who can still understand the beat of nature, the wave of the wind streaming past the convertible and can probably still chant a note actually on key. However the day doesn't truly start, no, the "partying" remains in the trunk as she tries to fit with youngsters who know how to still smile, to enjoy life, wear dresses that contrast their skin color and best of all: wearing clothingware too large for their small and growing bodies. And as her mind grows and matures even further, Fry Day rolls along, a night to get down to and the night to look forward to! However Rebecca reminiscences of the past, wonders what it would be like if tomorrow was again Fry Day, ponders on the times where it was just "fun fun fun" every day like Fry Day. Y'see ladies and gentleman while I completely overlook the fact that they stereotypically put a African-American who resembles Usher to rap a small dialogue about school buses, clearly displaying issues of moving to another age-group. Rebecca Black just wants to fit in, she wants everyday to be Fry Day, to be the start of the weekend. As the pages roll giving us an epileptic seizure, we see that she just wants three things: her weekends, party and party and party and party and party and party and party and party and party and party and party and party and party and party and party and party and party and party and party and party and party and yeah... isn't she allowed that? Isn't she allowed to be among children between the ages of 13 and 17 and just have "fun"? Pay attention ladies and gentleman, look at her on the stage, smiling, laughing. It's Fry Day, give her a break...
