The Manila bus hostage crisis. The two photos are really showing how inexperience the police were. One showed that there is an emergency door right above them and because they didn't know how to use it, they tried to crack the windows and doors using that method for over half an hour, which was one of the reasons the hostage holder went berserk and killed some hostage. Then after they killed the hostage holder, they went inside via the emergency door.

A chinese couple marrying during the SARS time. Basically everyone had to wear a mask whenever they go out and trust me, it felt like a god damn chemical warfare when you see everyone on street wearing one.

Since the Chinese started to come to Hong Kong more easily, there are lots of issues with pregnant women because if the son is born in Hong Kong, they get tonnes of benefits for free and their son will have citizenship, so free public education etc will be given. So how do they do it because shouldn't there be a line of Hong Kong pregnant mums waiting in a queue?
Several ways, either they come at the Hong Kong border at the verge of needing to go to hospital for birth.
Some would do that in the hospital instead, and go straight into the emergency operation room.
They do not, however, think they are doing anything wrong because they "shop" and "pay for the operation"
Those luggages are usually all the baby products, especially milk powder because the Chinese brands were caught twice to contain some chemicals that caused quite a lot of babies' death.

I think everyone should know this one already, the hyper inflation in Germany was so out of control that people actually used the bank note to lit stove fire. It is one of the cases that really sparked my interest in economics. Afterall, if you think about it, bank notes are just a piece of paper/plastic, even coins worth more than it, but with a few systems working behind it, even paper can worth more than coins. And it seems most people underestimate the impact of war because the news only focus upon the death toll number, but not anything afterwards until something happens again
