I will tell you that Tag Heuer's are solidly built and that it is a well respected watch brand. My family has been in the watch repair business for a good 40 years now, and I've grown up around watches so, yeah. Although if you have that much money, I suggest buying something that LOOKS cooler if you are going for looks. Oh and since it's battery run, accuracy is a nonissue. I do have one suggestion, and that is going to a local jewelry store that holds the watch and wearing it. Watches all have a different weight and balance to them, so you might want to try it out before getting a watch that just feels uncomfortable on your arm. Edit: And looks awkward. If the watch is too big/too small on your arm, no matter how good it looks, it will look weird. For example, I cannot wear giant pilot watches or thick diver's watches because my wrists are really thin. Edit:2: IMO, if you are dressing to impress, this one is on the plain side. Unless you are die hard on getting Tag Heuer, get a chronograph (mulitple dials with timers and stuff).
ended up buying the tag: http://www.authenticwatches.com/tag-heuer-aquaracer-wap1112-ba0831.html
went to a store to try it on, actually fit my arm well and looks pretty cool; didn't buy it from the store thought because it was $600 less online.

I was expecting way more cellphone pictures in this thread
I don't have a picture of it (I don't remember what i did with it), but my watch for about 8 years or so was a pocket watch I bought from a Nintendo Power catalogue when I was maybe 12ish (i.e. a very long time ago). It had a picture of Link in it and was chained to a leather (actually it was probably pleather) case that had a Tri-force embedded into it that you'd slip onto your belt. I loved that thing. Eventually over the years no matter how many batteries I'd go through, the thing would just immediately die. Plus the case started to discolor really badly to the point where you couldn't even make out the Tri-force.
At that point I had pretty much moved onto the cellphone watch.

Watches are awesome. I have two currently in my possession:

Constant 24 hour illumination, thanks to radioactive gas tubes. Nice and sturdy.

^ Cool watch, I have a friend who wears this as a "daily beater". I really like the build quality, and that nifty power indicator on the kinetic.
Also, I found myself wearing the sawtooth more and more because I like the way it feels on my hand.

Being a very limited version, it runs for at least $5000 on ebay, depending on the version (there's like 8000 stainless steel ones and 69 platinum ones, which, as you might guess, go for a LOT more, if you're lucky enough to find one for sale).
However, if you're into that sort of stuff, I would definitely recommend looking into the Omega Meteorite Dial as (Apollo Soyuz 35th Anniversary):

I guess these go for the same price, if not a bit more (think it was $6000 list price).
I love this one, I think it's the best looking Speedmaster to date. No offense to the beautiful one above.

If you want to buy good quality watches, they have to be Swiss-made.
