I find that drinking loads of water at night before you sleep helps reduce the needs for me drinking water throughout the day. Less time spent drinking, less time in toilet = more time overall. Also to prevent or lessen your hangover! Atleast it works fine for me ![]()

Never heard of a "hartsfield manouver". I get what it is, but where does it come from? who's hartsfield? ![]()

It saves your quite a bit of time, though I was once pulled over (thus negating all time saved probably lol) and the cop gave me a warning, claiming careless driving.

I usually won't attempt a Hartsfield at all unless there is a corner parking lot since the u-turn usually defeats the purpose of saving time. Certain situations it is called for, I know some lights back when I lived in Florida were disgustingly long and this would get you through with like minutes to spare. But I do the corner parking lot when I hit my right turn but the people in front want to go straight so I would have to wait on them.

If you own a smartphone use a custom alarm clock to wake up. I personally use Alarm clock plus for Android and it let you put your own music and ask you math questions to be able to snooze. Lots of customization possible, it's fucking awesome. I can tell you you won't get back to bed after having to answer some shit like 82-57+29 at 6 in the morning.

I can tell you you won't get back to bed after having to answer some shit like 82-57+29 at 6 in the morning. Haha. I would. I can go to sleep after I shower if I make the mistake of laying down again. That's why I want to get one of these: ![]() It shoots the pieces out and you have to get out of bed, find them, and put them back in to make the alarm stop. As for my side of the tips: Do approximations! This won't work for all people, but for me it does, especially when I'm alone, I try to time/estimate everything (i.e. from home to the subway, subway ride, subway exit to work, etc.) I try to be as "on the mark" as possible, and remember little details like which door of the subway I wanna be on when it stops to walk as little as possible. I also count all the little things, like the steps to my apartment, how much each would mean in percentages, and dumb things like that. It may be a form of OCD but it helps with approximating things overall. And there's a great feeling when you say "i'll be there in 13 minutes" and get there in 13 minutes. ![]()

I'm always amazed people go to such effort trying to get free shit out of vending machines and then never interact with the people serving them food. Addition to this: Always be polite and friendly if you need help and the person you asked is pissed or in a bad mood or anything. You good mood will go over to the other person very quickly. It is kind of a good feeling to know that someone who was really unkindly has a better time now and also you will get better help/answers :p Being impatient and impolite (although it is the first natural response) will bring you nowhere
