I'm a professional web designer and developer, and developing for the IE platform in general is a pain, ie 10 isn't as much of a pain as 9 is though. All-in-all, ie still has the worst browser platform (in 10), compared to all other current versions when IE was released. 10 has decent support for everything, but performance wise its a bit behind everything else. Generally CSS3 support is lower for IE10 then the other browsers.
