It's not so much the nutritional value that people are talking about. It's the replacing of bread with fried food. It's like when they make breakfast sandwiches with donuts instead of english muffins or toast.

The target demographic is clearly young people with their "cravings" and proud healthy arteries.

I wouldn't mind this sandwich with some bread above &below, just to keep the grease off your hands. Insanely large sandwiches always sell well.
