The only advice you people should be giving your younger selves is: - Try to put yourself in other peoples' perspectives a bit more - Continue being awesome

Go to college in another country. Advice is hard, it's often meaningless without context and experience. Like I might want to tell myself to learn more reflectively, but without challenging enough material there would be no impetus. I'd also tell myself to go live in a 3rd world country, but I would have had no interest in high school.

2. Save. I've squandered so much money. And it wasn't on useful stuff either, mostly BS that I never used or didn't need. 3. Sleep. I think that during my teens I must have averaged 3-4 hours a night. Mostly just watching television.

Do you know why we make mistakes and we why screw up? So you can tell other people about it and share what you experienced Do you know why they don't listen to your advice and screw up? Because life is a journey where you slow down and speed up and you can never enjoy it to the fullest, if you don't screw up and hitch hike or beg on the streets or waste hundreds of dollars in high school on things as useless as a dead dingo's donga ................ its because there is no shortcut in life........ everyones journey is different so don't feel bad screwing up, its just a different book on a different shelf.

Maybe you ment to say 6 figures which is prerry impressive for a teacher. Agree on the intellignce, a few of my teachers had masters degrees and most of them were very smart people.

When you get to sixth form (16-18), conform like crazy. Don't stand up for your indefensible, badly worked out childish views. Just wear the clothes others wear, get a haircut and don't fight it. It's not worth the pain. If you were too fucking arrogant to take the last piece of advice, then just hang on and work hard..your gap year will change everything. At university go to the Indian restaurant by the station as it's amazing. Don't find this out in your last week. Above all, don't try and reach a point of security. You can't, everything ends no matter what you do. Just enjoy the beautiful relationships when they happen and while they last. Don't be bitter.
