Dear self,

I know you think you are a genius and that you will take over the world, but you are not. You are just above average. Don't worry though, you will still ace everything like a maniac all the time. Do not try to win that science contest in your last year. You will create the biggest project of your life and you won't even win a single thing. Programming a MMORPG is NOT something you can do, not because you lack the skill, but because you will lack the team to do it. Don't waste your time on that. Pick a double major in maths and physics, because trust me, this is what you want to do.

Focus on learning more stuff. Try to learn Calculus before College. And Calc 2. And 3. And Linear Algebra. Then go on and learn learn learn learn. Maybe you'll save some stupid boring classes later. Who knows.

Don't waste your time on that girl. Forget her, it will only brings you despair for a full year. Try to increase your P.E. grade from 69 to something like 75, you would get an average high enough to get the best scolarship.

Don't play WoW. Waste of time.

Get out of your house ASAP. Do not go to that stupid educational system in your province. Skip it and go straight in Ontario to University. Forget all these useless contests that you will all fail. Or try some contests that you could succeed like maths or something.

In April 2009, solve that triangle using that theorem about isometric lines tangent to a circle from a same point. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see it.

Try to like stats a bit more. They are cool. You can still hate poetry and stuff. It won't matter. You will prefer to criticize/analyse books and stuff but you will never get a good grade in that. You will get an almost perfect in everything you do in poetry though.

Stay away from Mensa. It will depress you. And the exam was stupid anyway because of these shitty vocabulary questions. You don't need some IQ score to be happy.

Focus your electives completely on foreign languages. The younger you learn it the better and they can open some incredible options when you get out of college. Get into summer abroad programs if possible.

If you're going to end up with student loans go to a big university in a fun warm place not a lame midwestern liberal arts school where it is cold and the chicks are ugly.

Work out daily.

Stay out of relationships, hit on more girls.

1) Get a 4.0 GPA and choose a good undergraduate school, this will make your life a lot easier in the long run. Remember: high school is a joke compared to college.

2) Do your HW, please do it.

3) You have plenty of time to slack off, why are you playing games when you could be studying for that easy as shit test that will only take you 1 to 2 hours max to study for.

4) AP Physics C is actually not as hard as your peers think it is.

5) Don't listen to your good friend who, while he is a nice guy, does not really know who you want to grow up to be. No, do not settle for $50k/year salary when you could easily be making a 6 figure income if you just applied yourself in school and reached your potential.

6) Studying is cool. Make better friends.

If I managed to do anything with my old self I would just chill, have a good conversation and see the friends.

But of course...I had a very strange highschool experience and I'm still just a freshman in college.

Studying something else than math in highschool is stupid and a waste of time but you should read a lot ( books, newspapers etc ... ) to get a good general knowledge.
