Everyone has their own preferences in movies.. why do you guys need to argue which movie is better lol... just vote and watch.

Edit: because no matter how much you argue.. there are no winners just the rich ass actors and directors, etc.

i disliked inglorious basterds and district 9.
Im not sure what you guys saw in the movie it just seemed to lack alot.
Inglorious basterds had alot of good acting and the way that it was put together was genious like all of quentins movies. but i just couldn't enjoy it.

I saw only one movie nominated for an academy award apparently (Avatar)
oh wait, I saw half of district 9 and got bored and turned it off

I think Hurt Locker will take most due to the fact that people just hate Avatar due to the 3D etc.

I don't find Avatar that great due to the fact that its severely overrated. Mediocre acting, and a script that is basically Pocahantas in the future? I'm sorry, great special effects shouldn't make that the best film of the year.

Well, it also helps that Avatar had an extremely generic plot and incredibly boring, one dimensional characters... :/

Having seen both, The Hurt Locker was a vastly superior movie in all areas but special effects.
