Idra would be so hilarious on a reality show. Sadly this one just isn't fit for SC players.

They need to bring in the real games; starcraft, counterstrike, quake 3, unreal 2004, street fighter 3 or 4, hell even oldschool games like tetris or whatever to see who can get the most points/lines. And sc2 if it comes out This is true, but it wouldn't appeal to the general viewer as much as say, guitar hero or a fps game with the newest graphics even though the games you listed are far better for competitive gaming.

Besides a simple "brothers" angle, we would also stand out by being older than the usual applicant. He would have just completed his MBA from Carnegie Mellon (a top 20 business university), and I have a Computer Engineering degree along with 5 years professional application development experience (currently a Senior Application Developer / Analyst for Emory University's School of Medicine). Anyone think such a thing might have a chance? Hard to tell how they cast this thing as they don't do it based on solely accomplishments.

My accomplishments (word document) are fairly meager with the strongest thing likely being my silver WCG medal in a joke game. However - there might be appeal if I convinced my younger brother to apply, which I must admit would be difficult as he hates most ideas that come from me. He has won several WCG USA events and his polar opposite personality of myself makes him "media friendly" (possibly best shown by his Wizard drunk interview video). While missing a few things, his general accomplishments (word document). Besides a simple "brothers" angle, we would also stand out by being older than the usual applicant. Go for the brother's angle. Do you guys normally get along? Well, you don't now. Some sort of competition between brothers thing would probably work lol. Good luck.

I don't like your odds since they go for like "TV" friendly people ie drama/hot girls and attractive/drama guys... I'm not saying I was either of those things I'm just telling you what they are going for. From what I remember of you (you wore business attire to WCG) you are a pretty chill, serious and normal guy. They are going for just about the opposite of you. BUT What does it hurt to try? Worst case scenario I'm right.. big deal.
