That thing is hideous, and rather than being a 'robot girlfriend', it looks more like a realdoll with a tape recorder in it that randomly says "SOCCER MAKES ME HOT!"

Give it another 40-50 years or so and I'm sure Japan will be rolling out robot girlfriends that actually look and act somewhat lifelike.

Although the uncanny valley will probably never go away, I know I'd be pretty creeped out.
