Ok fair enough. But the fact of the matter is that even though computer games in general WERE considered to be nerdy (back when the PC wasn't as common as today, I doubt there are many kids in >3rd world countries growing up without a PC), calling people who play starcraft nerds is pretty mean. First of all because it's a rather old game and a LOT of people who play it are veterans, which imply that they are 20++ years old and most likely have/have had a serious relationship. So if anything (and judging by the people I know IRL who are SC-addicts), starcraft players will most likely NOT fit the stereotype of the average gamer. That's why I got a tad angry, because to me, starcraft and chess players are the least nerdy of the bunch by far. Sorry for snapping.

People (not just Nonfactor) got angry because your post oozed of superiority. So much that it actually offended people who did or were going to post pics of their girlfriend. And your reasoning made it sound a LOT sillier than it originally sounded. And as I said before, even if someone WOULD fap to your girlfriend, how is that an insult to anything? Is it wrong for other people to find your girl attractive? I can understand not posting pictures of someone without their permission, but reasons like that just sound... dumb.

Actually I disagree. I doubt NonFactor is even the slightest bit angry.
