1. Sometime in 2010, find some sort of goal for the future to work for, a college major particularly would be nice (graduating 2011) 2. Don't get completely sucked into the FFXI subscription I just activated a week ago 3. Become a little truer to my ideals in 2010 than in 2009.
I only have one goal, but this goal will consume me wholly and utterly.
That goal is to finish my novel, Throne of Armageddon. Currently it's sitting at 1193 pages and has taken nearly eight years to reach this point, largely because of lethargy and mental illnesses.
Completing it will entail writing another 1000 or more pages.
I've written about 180 in the past 3 weeks, many times writing 25+ pages in a single day when I can focus, other times I am too crippled by lethargy and anxiety to focus.
Additionally, this project entails rewriting and editing everything I've already written because it's old and awful.
1.Run more miles. 2.Lose weight. 3.Play my guitar. 4.Become more social. 5.Read books. 6.Join the track team. 7.Learn to dance correctly 8.Buy myself a Psp. 9.Buy my brother a ps3 or something awesome.
1. Mass vocabulary in italian and french. 2. Continue learning jap and korean. 3. C- iccup 4. Stop procrastination on all work, I'm seriously going to do this. 5. Average A- in all subjects and get in top 25/252 for the year. 6. Continue training for 1500m and get sub 4:10 at least 7. Keep talking to this really nice girl :D 8. Speak my mind and don't let idiots get in my way.
1. Trips to Angkor and Tibet 2. No matter SC2 makes in 2010 or 2011 or.....BUY A NEW PC 3. Finish my current commitment and start looking for a better job . . . If possible, work out to get some light abs like.... + Show Spoiler +

My last resolution was to work out and boy did I succeed at that. I'm way better looking than I was last year. Unfortunately that's the only productive thing I did this year.
1. The usual, GF 2. Do more coding on my own projects, perhaps some open source stuff, or helping out on TL or some other site I frequent. 3. Learn something about fashion. I dress like a chump, even at work. I may have to call in a professional. 4. Start shopping around for motorcycles, because I'm totally getting one this year.

YIKES! 140 is overweight to you? I see your 5th resolution is to get a girlfriend but maybe you are a girl? Not trying to be insulting, just seems quite scary to imagine a guy at 140 lbs and feels overweight...
Ive never had a new years resolution before and to be honest i always thought its just stupid and unnecessary and for losers
But this new year i might decide to do it, just incase it works
My new years resolution as ive thought over is gonna be to ask this girl that ive fancied for a really long time but never quiet got the chance to ask her out.
But before i do that i have to start working out, like waking up 4 in the morning and do my daily excercise with i did for 2 years straight when i was 14-16 years old. Now Ive been smoking 1 pack of smokes each day and sitting to much infront of the computer gouging on fast food and that has made me feel like shit these last two years.
Maybe i could make this new year a point of change for me. Lol this is silly, even if i did all that and it worked well then.... id be happy )
I decided to keep my resolution to three main goals because I really want to push myself to achieve them:
1) Better time management. I feel like I could have pulled a 4.0 if I didn't waste so much time doing nothing instead of studying more for exams. I was close, so I willl do my best to achieve this next year. I have set an arbitrary rule of 20 minutes on Facebook and Teamliquid each once I go back to school. It will be hard but I gotta do it!
2) Attend church more regularly. I really love the church community but I haven't gotten myself very involved yet. I hope to put priority on it and attempt to go every week. I did not do a good job of prioritizing last semester, putting friends, parties, and similar things on top. It's difficult to balance everything though.
3) Take care of my health. Eat healthy food, exercise frequently, and so on. I got sick more often than usual during first semester and I want to fix that for next year.
1) Finish my novel and get a book deal. 2) Promote my new anthology 3) Get into an MFA and NOT lose my mind in the first year 4) NOT get my gf pregnant.
1) Fitter 2) Happier 3) More productive 4) Comfortable 5) Not drinking to much 6) Regular excercise at the gym (three days a week) 7) Getting on better with your associate employee contemporaries 8) At ease 9) Eating well (no more microwave dinners and saturated fats) 10) A patient, better driver (a safer car, baby smiling in back seat) 11) Sleeping well (no bad dreams, no paranoia) 12) Careful to all animals (never washing spiders down the plughole) 13) Keep in contact with old friends (enjoy a drink now and then) 14) Will frequently check credit at moral bank, hole in wall 15) Favors for favors 16) Fond but not in love 17) Charity standing orders on Sundays (Ring road supermarket) 18) No killing moths or putting boiling water on the ants 19) Car wash (also on Sundays) 20) No longer afraid of the dark or mid-day shadows 21) Nothing so ridiculously teenage and desperate (nothing so childish) 22) At a better pace (slower and more calculated) 23) No chance of escape 24) Now self-employed (concerned, but powerless) 25) An empowered and informed member of society 26) Pragmatism not idealism 27) Will not cry in public 28) Less chance of illness 29) Tires that grip in the wet (shot of baby strapped in back seat) 30) A good memory 31) Still cries at a good film 32) Still kisses with saliva 33) No longer empty and frantic 34) like a cat tied to a stick 35) That's driven into frozen winter shit 36) The ability to laugh at weakness 37) Calm 38) Fitter 39) Healthier 40) And more productive 41) A pig 42) In a cage 43) On antibiotics
1) reduce wacking to kinky porno from 5-10 times a day to twice a week (the girl i am seeing believes in abstinence before marriage) 2) 4.0 (should be easy if i open the goddamn books) 3) Reduce gaming to 3 hours a week from 6 hours a day, lol 4) lose 20 pounds and maintain body weight. (treadmills are my friends.) 5) Regulate my sleep schedule to early rising and going to bed by 1 am (right now i wake up around 3 pm)
1. 3.5+ in both econ and accounting, 4.0 everything else next semester 2. Get into the business school at msu (will happen if #1 happens) 3. Get a summer internship in the field of law, if not get a job 4. I wanna build a custom desktop sometime this year...not really a goal i guess lol 5. Play more poker (live at the casino too!) 6. Keep going to the gym 4+ times a week, squat 450, bench 350, deadlift 500+ 7. Get faster/quicker. Whee sprinting and plyometrics 8. Start on rugby team, make a deep run into playoffs. 9. Figure out how the female mind works 10. Do all this while still having a raging social life 11. Win at life. 12. 1920x1080. After upgrading to 1680x1050 this year i really wanna go up in resolution and hook up a 1080p monitor to my laptop.
1. Learn Japanese! (Alright Rosetta Stone, let's see how good you really are) 2. Get my Zerg from C- to C+. 3. Become a better programmer. 4. Maintain straight As.

1. Keep self in comparatively goo...er better shape (that is to say, heart not dieing from moving too much, and a minute amount of muscle) 2. Masturbate not at all (okay, this won't be too hard) 3. Study more. A lot more :|. (not very likely).
1) Quit smoking Cigs/&eed 2) Quit taking Oxy/Percocets 3) Eat healthier and one day go over 140 LBS, hopefully. 4) Attend School everyday without being a lazy ass. 5) Oh yes, and play with my nipples more frequently.
1.stop procrastinating 2. reach midstakes at least. 3. control Tilt in life and in game 4. actually try to reach c- for once 5. learn to focus on what makes me happy, and not what makes me money 6. fix or buy my/another guitar/piano and play them 7. stop caring that i am single 8. workout 3-5 hours a week at least. 9. stop playing with people and their emotions 10. trust someone once.

1. Get into shape again. I did pretty well during the summer this year, but gave up after a while and got fat again :C.
2. Get into U of I (or some other major university of my choice, but a good one, not some crap Uni!)
3. Find a new job that pays more money and is more stable.
4. Get a new car (I'm aiming for a Lance sport edition [SE?], all black)
5. Start playing the sax again (have somewhat begun doing this already), maybe join a band.
6. Stop procrastinating, or at least severely lessen it. As well as stop wasting so much time all the time.
7. Go to NY to meet with a fashion advisor (for both professional and casual attire).
8. Win my FF league next season (and thus make money).
9. Be social.
10. Rape life.
11. Start fighting again (or training to fight). I got lazy as hell a few years ago and stopped, and then when I wanted to start again I lost my health insurance, and there's no way I'm training in something where I could end up in the hospital with no insurance. ______
Most of that is pretty doable, 9 and 10 go together in my book. 8 is only for a few months. I don't think it's too much to ask of myself at all, but I'll probably get lazy and not do half of it.

Hahaha, neither of you watched the video, did you?

Resolution: - Get gf - Get journalism job - Get good camera and start doing photography - Draw/paint a lot - Get ripped - Write/read a lot - Learn Spanish
1. Turn some B's into A's 2. Keep learning how to breakdance 3. Keep up in photography with new camera (dslr :D) 4. Keep up with my graphics work 5. Get those lower abs, the ones I can never seem to get
Learn to speak either Tagalog or Spanish. I'm sick of going to family gatherings and being the only one who can't understand what anyone's saying (my dad's Puerto Rican and everyone on his side of the family speaks Spanish, and my mom's Filipina and her side all speak Tagalog).
1. Get a book/CD to learn one of those languages (probably start with Spanish first since it'll probably be the most useful). 2. Set aside two hours a day to study whatever material I choose to use. 3. Spend a lot more time with whichever side of the family speaks the language I want to learn.
Hopefully by the end of the year I'll be able to vaguely understand what one half of my family is saying and hold conversations with them (they all speak English, but I think they refuse to speak it in front of me as a way to punish (for lack of a better word) me for not learning Spanish/Tagalog).
1. 3.7+ GPA (3.4ish after first semester =(. I was lazy.) 2. Improve guitar skills; basically means learn to pick. 3. Learn Saxophone. 4. Increase visits to gym per week from 2 -> 4ish 5. Limit soda/junk in diet; instead, actually USE my meal plan. 6. workstudy job two days a week instead of just one.
Just a quick list that applies to me going back to school. Probably will attempt other things; probably will also accomplish the above as well.
1. Get stronger and gain 20 pounds or so 2. Meet some girls and get a girlfriend 3. Become more social 4. Abolish myself of jealousy (it is a lousy emotion)
1.- Keep on being the same person I was this last quarter of the year. 2.- Be always truth to myself, and never change for anybody. 3.- Be constant in being healthy and work out regularly. 4.- Have as much fun as I can, while I can, and with whomever I can .
1. Get the grades up. >3.0 2. Work out consistently. 3. 4:25 Mile 4. Record my own EP 5. Record some other bands 6. Cut back on junk time on the computer 7. Accomplish something in student government. 8. Get back into fiction writing.
1) Get a Job 2) B ranks iccup (C+ high) 3) Go to hospital to look at my hand 4) Be more social 5) Normalize my sleeping pattern 6) Not smoke a single cig. So far so good
