Yeah!
The key to happiness is being around people and engage in discussion. Unless you've got aspergers or don't feel that you get anything out of spending time with people
I'm 30, and I've time and time again noticed that the key to happiness is interaction with other human beings. It sparks the spirit and lights the fire of happiness inside of us.
Well our society has largely lied to you my friend and told us that we are meant to be perpetual teenagers our whole lives. Therefore we get left in this sort of half boy-half man purgatory with no goal in life nor anyone telling us what the hell we should be doing with our lives.
In every society apart from ours a boy grows to be man and this is something our society has messed up big time by creating something called adolescence. So now theres like 20 year old + men who are living pointless lives with no goal, perhaps smoking weed and drinking and having no responsibilities.
Do you know what you should do? Give up your countless hobbies and grow up.
If your bored your obviously not doing much that is productive.
There are 4 goals you must achieve over the next few years and these things will come together probably around the same time. Get to work
1) Undertake some form of training (university, college or on the job) for a career (a real career not a dead-end job) that you will enjoy and in an area your talented and actually COMPLETE the training/education fully.
2) Move out of your parent's house permanently. 3) When finished undertaking your desired training/education - get a job in that area - a full time job. (get a part time one if you can whilst undertaking education). 4) Find a girl you like, ask her out, be her boyfriend for a while then get married - then have children.
Hobbies are good in moderation but they can never satisfy nor make you grow as a human being.

Life's what you make it bro. It might sound like I'm being an ass, but you're being a bitch, I battled with depression, and Isolation as well, but now I'm a professional broadcaster for FM (fuck srious, yea i know its better). Grab your nuts, and work out! Nothing battles depression like a good run, not even kidding, dont belive me? Try it out and tell me it doesn't make you feel better, if you're 500 pounds and cant run, then walk. 1 step at a time (Yea I sound like a jerk, but this is what got me motivated, Now I got a great Fiance, wonderful kid, and the best job ever, I Talk, and get paid).
The advice about getting a girlfriend isn't always true....
Just broke up with my gf a couple of weeks ago (2years together) and 2 days ago I found out she already has another... I'm just devasted I still love her... So if you're depression-prone, watch out with gf's :s
